Happy Birthday - Gorgeous Leaves - #TGIFC335 Inspiration Challenge

Hello again! Today's card is one I have entered into the TGIF Challenges #TGIFC335 Inspiration Challenge this week.

Now this week's challenge was based around a Fall / Harvest / Pumpkin theme. Here in Australia, it is Spring and the weather is warming up and the blossoms are in bloom. So I decided to use one of my new favourite stamp sets Gorgeous Leaves and give the leaf a  brighter colour to reflect the spring here with a watercolour background similar to the graphic in this weeks challenge.

For this card I used the Gorgeous Leaves Bundle (stamp set with coordinating dies). I also used the 'In Your Words' stamp set which is a free Sale-a-bration HOST rewards set available if you spend over AUD$250 in a single order in the Australian Stampin' Up!® store. Don't forget Sale-a-bration is finishing today the 30th September.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Basic White card, cut in half lengthwise and folded. Use a piece of Basic White card and emboss with the Bark Embossing Folder and attach to the card base Liquid Glue.

- Use one of the texture stamps from the Gorgeous Leaves set and apply Blushing Bride ink and then spritz with water and stamp onto a piece of Watercolour Paper. Spritz with water without reapplying ink and add some more residual ink on the stamp to the card to create a watercolour background. Splatter some more ink over the rest of the card . Attach this card to a slightly larger piece of Blushing Bride card. Attach these pieces to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Use the woodgrain stamp from the Gorgeous Leaves set and stamp with Versamark Ink onto a piece of Crumb Cake card. Heat emboss with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder. Die cut a leaf shape using the Intricate Leaves Dies. Attach the leaf to the front of the watercolour card with Liquid Glue. Cut a piece of White Glittered Organdy Ribbon into half lengthwise and use both pieces to tie a double bow and then attach to the leaf with a Mini Glue Dot.

- Stamp a sentiment from the 'In Your Words' stamp set onto Basic Black card with Versamark Ink and heat emboss with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. Attach the sentiment to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. Add some Subtle Shimmer Sequins with Liquid Glue.
