Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Project's Case the Designer Challenge where we are CASEing the amazing Krista this week. Make sure to visit the Global Design Project's Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the rest of the team's entries.
I was inspired by the soft colours and general design of Krista's card. I used the Botanical Expressions stamp set, April 2026 Paper Pumpkin (Lakeside Retreat), Softly Woven Embossing Folder and Pecan Pie Opaque Faceted Gems (retired).
Instructions:
- Use pieces from the Lakeside Retreat Paper Pumpkin kit to create the card base, including using the Softly Woven Embossing Folder to emboss one of the layers.
- Use die cut pieces from the Lakeside Retreat kit to mimic the elements from Krista's card
- Stamp a sentiment from the Botanical Expressions stamp set onto Basic White card using Misty Moonlight ink. Mat the sentiment onto strips of card and adhere them all to the card.
- Finally add some Pecan Pie Opaque Faceted Gems to complete the card.
