Gift of Giving - November 2023 Instahop

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today I am hopping with some friends on Instagram for the November 2023 Instahop. We are an international group of stamping friends and the theme for November is "Gift Tags".

I used the Gift of Giving Stamp set and combined it with the Merry Bold & Bright DSP, Tailor Made Tags Dies, Deckled Rectangles Dies, Christmas Classics Dies, Brushed Gold Cards & Envelopes and 2 3/8" Circle Punch. I used Stampin' Blends to colour the images and the Splatter Embossing Folder to add interest to the background. I also used Silver & White Sheer Ribbon and Red /White Bordered Ribbon to create the bows.

Instructions:

Tag 1:

- Cut a piece of the Merry Bold & Bright DSP with the Deckled Rectangle Dies. Layer with a tag created with Basic White and the Tailor Made Tags Dies. Emboss the tag with the Splatter Embossing Folder.

- Stamp an image from the Gift of Giving stamp set using Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White card. Colour with Stampin' Blends using the colours that coordinate with the Merry Bold & Bright DSP.

-Die cut some Gold Leaves from the Brushed Gold Cards & Envelopes using the Christmas Classics Dies. Adhere the stamped image and leaves onto the tag.

- Use theSilver & White Sheer Ribbon to create a bow and thread through the tag.

Tag 2:

- Cut a piece of the Merry Bold & Bright DSP with the Deckled Rectangle Dies. Layer with a circle created with Basic White and the 2 3/8" Circle Punch. Emboss the tag with the Splatter Embossing Folder and add some Flirty Flamingo ink with a Blending Brush to the embossed circle.

- Stamp an image from the Gift of Giving stamp set using Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White card. Colour with Stampin' Blends using the colours that coordinate with the Merry Bold & Bright DSP.

-Die cut a Gold leaf from the Brushed Gold Cards & Envelopes using the Christmas Classics Dies. Adhere the stamped image and leaf onto the tag.

- Use the Red /White Bordered Ribbon to create a bow and thread through the tag.

Crafting With You Instahop Stampin' Blends Zany Zoo

You Inspire Me - Crafting With You - August 2023 Instahop

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today I am hopping with some friends on Instagram for the August 2023 Instahop. We are an international group of stamping friends and the theme for August is "Baby/Animals".

I used the Crafting With You bundle and Zoo Crew DSP (images) and Delightfully Eclectic DSP (patterned paper). I also used the Cane Weave Embossing Folder and Stampin' Blends to colour the images. I added some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Fresh Freesia A4 card, cut in half lengthwise and folded. Layer with a piece of the Basic White embossed with the Cane Weave Embossing Folder. Layer with pieces of the Delightfully Eclectic DSP.

- Stamp the easel from the Crafting With You set using Pecan Pie ink onto Basic White and die cut using the coordinating dies. Use a floral stamp from the Crafting With You stamp to second generation stamp flowers onto the Easel background with Lemon Lolly ink.

- Fussy cut the hedgehog from the Zoo Crew DSP and colour with various Stampin' Blends. Adhere the hedgehog inside the die cut easel to give the appearance of a painted image. Adhere the pieces to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Stamp the sentiment rom the Crafting With You set onto Basic White using Fresh Freesia ink and layer onto a piece of Fresh Freesia card. Add some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Instahop Just My Type Stamped With Love

Hi - Stamped With Love & Just My Type - July 2023 Instahop

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today I am hopping with some friends on Instagram for the July 2023 Instahop. We are an international group of stamping friends and the theme for July is "Favourite Colour Family". I found this quite a hard choice to make as I love so many of the colours and I am very fond of bright pops of colour. I ended up deciding that the "Subtles" family was my favourite as they seem to be highlighted the most in my cards.

I used the Stamped with Love and Just My Type stamp sets with the Bright & Beautiful DSP. I used Stampin' Blends to colour the various envelopes. Due to the little envelopes on the card, I was able to use all ten colours in the Subtles family.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Lemon Lolly A4 card, cut in half lengthwise and folded. Layer with a piece of the Basic White and then a piece of the Bright & Beautiful DSP.

- Stamp the post box from the Stamped with Love set using Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White and use Stampin' Blends (Lemon Lolly and Bubble Bath) to colour the envelope. Use the 'Hi' sentiment from the Just My Type stamp set and stamp onto the envelope with Tuxedo Black.

- Stamp the envelopes from the Just My Type set onto Basic White using all the colours in the Subtles family - Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath, Petal Pink, Fresh Freesia, Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Soft Sea Foam, Balmy Blue, Highland Heather and Lost Lagoon. Colour the flap of the envelopes in the coordinating Light Stampin' Blends and adhere to the card.

Everlasting Beauty Instahop

Happy Anniversary - Everlasting Beauty - June 2023 Instahop

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today I am hopping with some friends on Instagram for the June 2023 Instahop. We are an international group of stamping friends and the theme for June is "Graduation, Wedding or Anniversary". I chose "Anniversary" after I saw this beautiful script sentiment.

I used the Everlasting Beauty stamp set, Deckled Rectangles Dies, Les Shoppes DSP and Iridescent Pastel Gems.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Basic White A4 card, cut in half lengthwise and folded. Layer with a piece of the Les Shoppes DSP. Layer with a piece of Calypso Coral card die cut with a Deckled Rectangles. Use a piece of Basic White card and apply Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends using rubbing alcohol, a piece of plastic sheet and a Water Brush. Splatter some Calypso Coral Stampin' Write marker onto the piece, die cut with the Deckled Rectangles Dies, and adhere to the card.

- Stamp the Waratah from the Everlasting Beauty set using Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White and use Stampin' Blends (Calypso Coral, Flirty Flamingo, Lemon Lolly, Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green and Old Olive).

- Fussy cut the image and adhere to the card. Stamp the sentiment from the Everlasting Beauty set onto Basic White with Tuxedo Black. Tie a bow with Linen Thread and add some Iridescent Pastel Gems to complete the card.

Color & Contour In Colour 2023-2025 Instahop

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today I am hopping with some friends on Instagram for the May 2023 Instahop. We are an international group of stamping friends and the theme for May is "In Colours". I managed to use all of the 2023-2025 In Colours in my card today and have really taken to the new colours.

I used the Colour & Contour stamp set and coordinating dies, colouring the flowers with Stampin' Blends. I also used the Bough Punch and 2023-2025 In Colour Dots.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Pebbled Path A4 card, cut in half lengthwise and folded and layer with a piece of Basic White card. Layer with another piece of Basic White card which has had the dotted image from the Color & Contour set stamped with Copper Clay ink softly and also Pebbled Path ink splattered onto it.

- Stamp images from the Color & Contour set using Pebbled Path ink onto Basic White and use Stampin' Blends (Boho Blue, Mood Mauve and Wild Wheat).

- Use the Bough Punch to cut some leaves/branches from Basic White card and colour with Pebbled Path Stampin' Blends and a Colour Lifter. Adhere all the images and leaves to the card front.

- Stamp a sentiment from the Color & Contour set onto Basic White with Pebbled Path ink. Add some 2023-2025 In Colour Dots to complete the card.

Desert Details Inspired Thoughts Instahop

With Heartfelt Sympathy - Desert Details - April 2023 Instahop

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today I am hopping with some friends on Instagram for the April 2023 Instahop. We are an international group of stamping friends and the theme for April is "Sympathy".

I used the retiring Desert Details stamp set, Desert Details Dies and Delicate Desert DSP. I added some Adhesive Backed Milky Dots (also retiring) and embossed the white background piece with the Elegant Eucalyptus 3D Embossing Folder. The sentiment comes from the Inspired Thoughts which will also be retiring at the end of this month.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Petal PinkA4 card, cut in half lengthwise and folded and layer with a piece of Basic White card. Layer with a piece of Delicate Desert DSP and then add a strip of Basic White that has been embossed with the Elegant Eucalyptus Embossing Folder. Apply some Petal Pink ink applied with a Sponge Dauber to the raised embossed areas.

- Add some strips of the Delicate Desert DSP to the embossed piece. Stamp the images from the Delicate Desert stamp set onto Basic White with Pale Papaya ink (retiring). Use the Desert Details Dies to die cut the flowers. Adhere these to the card.

- Stamp a sentiment from the Inspired Thoughts set onto Basic White with Gray Granite ink. Add some Adhesive Backed Milky Dots to complete the card.

Full of Love Instahop Share A Milkshake

Sending Love - Full of Love - February 2023 Instahop

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today I am hopping with some friends on Instagram for the February 2023 Instahop. We are an international group of stamping friends and the theme for February is "Love".

I used the Full of Love stamp set combined with the Share A Milkshake Dies. The background was a scrap off my desk and was created using Stampin' Blends and Isopropyl Alcohol when I was playing around creating THIS card.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Soft Succulent A4 card, cut in half lengthwise and folded and layer with a piece of Basic White card. Layer with a piece of Basic White which has had Stampin' Blends (Flirty Flamingo & Pale Papaya) applied to it using a piece of plastic packaging and Isopropyl Alcohol.

- Stamp the image from the Full of Love stamp set onto Basic White with Tuxedo Black ink. Colour with Stampin' Blends (Flirty Flamingo, Polished Pink, Sweet Sorbet, Pale Papaya, Mint Macaron and Soft Succulent).

- Blend some Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo and Polished Pink ink onto a piece of Basic White using Blending Brushes and die cut hearts using the Share A Milkshake Dies.

- Stamp a sentiment from the Full of Love set onto Basic White with Tuxedo Black ink. Add some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to complete the card.

Instahop Sale-a-bration Thanks A Bunch

Hey There - Thanks A Bunch - January 2023 Instahop

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today I am hopping with some friends on Instagram for the January 2023 Instahop. We are an international group of stamping friends and the theme for January is 'Sale-a-bration'. I ended up using a couple of the fantastic Sale-a-bration items in my card today. For my card I used the Thanks A Bunch stamp set, combined with the Dainty Flowers DSP.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Sahara Sand A4 card, cut in half lengthwise and folded and layer with a piece of Basic White card and then a piece of the Dainty Flowers DSP.

- Stamp the carrots from the Thanks a Bunch stamp set onto Basic White with Pumpkin Pie ink (second generation image) and then stamp over it with the markings stamp using Pumpkin Pie ink again. Repeat this process on another carrot with Mango Melody ink. Stamp greenery using Granny Apple Green ink and fussy cut the images and adhere to the card.

- Stamp a sentiment from the Thanks A Bunch set onto Basic White with Rich Razzleberry ink. Add some Rhinestone Basic Jewels colour with a Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blend and adhere to the card.

Celebrate With Tags Instahop Lights Aglow Peaceful Deer

Merry Christmas - Celebrate with Tags & Peaceful Deer - December 2022 Instahop

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today I am hopping with some friends on Instagram for the December 2022 Instahop. We are an international group of stamping friends and the theme for December is ' Holiday or Winter'. I ended up choosing to incorporate both themes into my card.

For my card today, I used the Celebrate with Tags stamp set, combined with the Lights Aglow Specialty DSP (now sold out in Australia). I had originally created the centrepiece as a tag on its own but liked the idea of incorporating it into a card potentially as a removable gift as well.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Evening Evergreen A4 card, cut in half lengthwise and folded and layer with a piece of Lights Aglow DSP. Use a piece of Basic White card and layer with two pieces of Lights Aglow DSP, add a loop of Gold 1/4" Shimmer Ribbon and adhere to the card base.

- Stamp the mittens from the Celebrate with Tags set onto Basic White with Crumb Cake ink, fussy cut or die cut and adhere to the card. Stamp a sentiment from the Peaceful Deer set onto Basic White with Cherry Cobbler ink. Add some Festive Pearls and Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots.
