Sending Love - Full of Love - February 2023 Instahop

Sending Love - Full of Love - February 2023 Instahop

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today I am hopping with some friends on Instagram for the February 2023 Instahop. We are an international group of stamping friends and the theme for February is "Love".

I used the Full of Love stamp set combined with the Share A Milkshake Dies. The background was a scrap off my desk and was created using Stampin' Blends and Isopropyl Alcohol when I was playing around creating THIS card.

Click this link to visit my Instagram page HERE to hop around to each participant.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Soft Succulent A4 card, cut in half lengthwise and folded and layer with a piece of Basic White card. Layer with a piece of Basic White which has had Stampin' Blends (Flirty Flamingo &  Pale Papaya) applied to it using a piece of plastic packaging and Isopropyl Alcohol.

- Stamp the image from the Full of Love stamp set onto Basic White with Tuxedo Black ink. Colour with Stampin' Blends (Flirty Flamingo, Polished Pink, Sweet Sorbet, Pale Papaya, Mint Macaron and Soft Succulent).

- Blend some Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo and Polished Pink ink onto a piece of Basic White using Blending Brushes and die cut hearts using the Share A Milkshake Dies.

- Stamp a sentiment from the Full of Love set onto Basic White with Tuxedo Black ink. Add some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to complete the card.

Hello - Full of Love - GDP356 Case the Designer Challenge

Hello - Full of Love - GDP356 Case the Designer Challenge

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for Global Design Project's #GDP356 Case the Designer Challenge . This week's we are CASEing the amazing Emma Goddard.

I was inspired by the lines, flowers and general layout of Emma's card. I used the Full of Love stamp set and coloured the images with Stampin' Blends. I also used the Silver & Gold 6" x 6" DSP which is a Sale-a-bration item during the month of August. You can get these lovely papers for spends over AUD$90.

Instructions:

- Use a Basic White A4 card, cut in half lengthwise and folded. Layer with Tahitian Tide card and then a piece of Silver & Gold 6" x 6" DSP.

- Stamp the flowers and main image from the Full of Love stamp set onto Basic White with Tuxedo Black ink. Colour the images with Stampin' Blends (So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Pumpkin Pie, Fresh Freesia, Blackberry Bliss, Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party, Bermuda Bay and Gray Granite). Fussy cut out all the images and then adhere to the card.

- Cut a small piece of Basic White to cover the envelope image, stamp a sentiment from the Full of Love stamp set using Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White and attach to the card.

Hello There - Full of Love - Ink and Inspiration Blog Hop July 2022

Hello There - Full of Love - Ink and Inspiration Blog Hop July 2022

Hello and welcome back to my blog. You are visiting Ann Alexander from Australia. Today I have a card for the July 2022 "Ink and Inspiration Blog Hop".

Now this month's inspiration image (see below) was another challenging one for me as some of the colours are ones that I rarely use except for (no surprise) a colour challenge. The full set of colours for this month's theme are Pacific Point, Blackberry Bliss, Poppy Parade, Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight and Smoky Slate.

I was inspired by the more neutral colour palette of the yellows and greys and exchanged the Poppy Parade for Sweet Sorbet and added a little green to balance out the card. I used the Full of Love stamp, colouring with Stampin' Blends and I used the Tea Boutique Cards and Envelopes both for the card base and also used an envelope to provide the patterned paper layer.

Instructions:

- Use one of the Sweet Sorbet Tea Boutique Cards for the base. Layer with a piece of Smoky Slate and then a piece cut from an envelope of the Tea Boutique Cards and Envelopes.

- Stamp the image and sentiment from the Full of Love stamp set using Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White. Colour with Stampin' Blends (Sweet Sorbet, Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight, Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow and Old Olive).

- Stamp some additional floral images using Mango Melody ink onto Basic White and fussy cut as well as stamping directly onto the card. Apply Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to complete.

I hope the card you've seen here on my blog today has inspired you to create something today.

You are currently visiting Ann Alexander. Please see the list below and hop through all of the people on the list to see all our projects. There is so much inspiration, you won't want to miss any of the other projects!

Artisan Design Team - Corporate Post - Fresh Cut Flowers

Artisan Design Team - Corporate Post - Fresh Cut Flowers

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am so excited to be sharing my Corporate Post for Stampin' Up!® today using the Fresh Cut Flowers stamp set which is on page 65 in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue. This bundle appeals to my love of flower stamp sets and I used some of my favourite colours (as you know Polished Pink is a must).

To view this project fully, don't forget to visit the Stampin' Up!® Corporate Facebook Page.

The Fresh Cut Flowers stamp set is a standalone set without sentiments and is a particularly versatile set as you can use it with almost any sentiment. The delicate florals in the set are perfect for creating anything from a simple tag to a lush floral garden on your card.

I also used the Forever Flourishing Dies to add more depth and foliage to the flowers on the projects as well as the Tailor Made Tags and Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder and Full of Love stamp set for the sentiment.

Here are the products I used for these cards. See the links below if you would like to shop my store.

Hello there:

- I used Smoky Slate card for the base, with Polished Pink embossed with the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder. Apply Whisper White ink using a sponge dauber to add an interesting textural element.

- Stamp the images using Smoky Slate ink onto Basic White card and fussy cut all the images out. Colour with Stampin' Blends and accentuate the flowers and leaves with Watercolour pencils. Layer the images over leaves cut from the Distressed Gold Specialty Paper using the Forever Flourishing Dies.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Full of Love stamp set using Versamark ink on Smoky Slate card and heat emboss with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. Use For Everything Fancy Sequins and Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to add some additional bling. Tie Simply Elegant Trim to create a bow for the floral bunch.

TIP: The Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder adds an interesting textural element to the card, Apply a drop of Whisper White Refill with a Sponge Dauber to enhance the texture of the embossed piece.

Sending Love Your Way:

- I used Smoky Slate card for the base, with Basic White and Pale Papaya for the layers. Stamp the florals from the Fresh Cut Flowers set onto the Pale Papaya layer using Pale Papaya Ink to create a background tone on tone look.

- Stamp the florals from the Fresh Cut Flowers set onto Basic White card using Smoky Slate ink and fussy cut out. Colour the images with Stampin' Blends and Watercolour Pencils including the florals and leaves stamped on the Pale Papaya layer.

- Add some For Everything Fancy Sequins, Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels and some more leaves die cut using the Forever Flourishing Dies with Distressed Gold Specialty Paper.

TIP: Colour your Fresh Cut Flowers floral images with both light and dark shades of Stampin' Blends. Use Watercolour Pencils to add more colour to the stamped images as well as to create unique colour combinations and add dimension.
