My Home - Ringed with Nature - CAS on Friday

Hello and welcome back to my blog! My card for today is for this week's CAS on Friday Challenge #256 theme which is "New Home".

For my card, I decided to use one of my favourite retiring colours - So Saffron- for the card base and layer. I used the Ringed with Nature stamp set, Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing Folder, Painted Texture Embossing Folder, Warm Welcome Stamp Set for the sentiment and Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots.

Make sure to visit the blog HERE to see the rest of the team's projects.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of So Saffron card for the card base, and layer with a smaller piece of So Saffron card embossed with the Painted Texture Embossing Folder.

- Use the Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing Folder to emboss and die cut a tree ring from Basic White card. Stamp the house image from the Ringed with Nature stamp set onto Basic White with Night of Navy and Crumb Cake ink and fussy cut. Layer onto the the tree ring and adhere to the card.

- Die cut leaves using the Tree Rings Dies. Colour loosely with Stampin' Blends (Mossy Meadow, Pecan Pie) and adhere under the tree ring.

Happy Anniversary - Ringed With Nature - JAI622 Just Add Ink Choose Two Challenge

Happy Anniversary - Ringed With Nature - JAI622 Just Add Ink Choose Two Challenge

Hello again and welcome back to my blog! I have another Just Add Ink Design Team post for you today.

This week's challenge is the Just Add Ink #JAI622 Choose Two Challenge  . This week we have to choose between 'Friend, Foliage and Masking'. I decided to use Foliage and Masking as my two choices. I used the Perfectly Penciled DSP, Vellum Layering Designs.Stylish Shapes Dies and the Ringed with Nature stamp set. I did some ink blending on the background square using the Dots and Spots Die which I used on acetate to create  homemade stencil (see THIS POST for more information to see how I created this stencil). and added some For Everything Fancy Sequins.

Click HERE if you would like to be taken straight to my store.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Basic Black card A4 card cut lengthwise and folded in half. Layer with a piece  Perfectly Penciled DSP and then Basic White card. Layer the Basic White card with a piece of the White Vellum Layering Designs.

- Blend Pale Papaya ink and Polished Pink onto a piece of Basic White. Use the Dots and Spots Die to die cut a piece of acetate to create a homemade stencil (see this post) and apply Pale Papaya ink through it. Cut out a blended square piece of card using the square die from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Fussy cut foliage pieces from the Perfectly Penciled DSP, colour with the Mint Macaron Stampin' Blends and adhere to the blended square and attach to the card.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Ringed with Nature stamp set using Versamark ink onto Basic Black and heat emboss with White Stampin' Emboss Powder . Use some For Everything Fancy Sequins to embellish.

Get Well Soon - Kindest Gnomes and Ringed With Nature - GDP358 Sketch Challenge

Get Well Soon - Kindest Gnomes and Ringed With Nature - GDP358 Sketch Challenge

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for Global Design Project's #GDP358 Sketch Challenge . I decided to turn the sketch from a landscape card to a portrait version as I prefer working in a portrait orientation and also it suited the elements I used on the card.

I used the Kindest Gnomes Bundle and combined it with the Ringed with Nature Bundle, the Timber Embossing Folder and the Rings of Love DSP (which is a Sale-a-bration paper only available till the end of August). I used ink blending and colouring with Stampin' Blends to add colour to the card.

Instructions:

- Use a Bermuda Bay A4 card, cut in half lengthwise and folded. Layer with Basic White and then another piece of Basic White embossed with the Timber Embossing Folder which has had Bermuda Bay ink applied with a Blending Brush.

- Stamp one of the gnomes from the Kindest Gnomes set onto Basic White and die cut. Colour with Stampin' Blends (Bermuda Bay, Sweet Sorbet, Smoky Slate & Gray Granite). Use the Ringed with Nature Bundle, and die cut and emboss a tree ring. Apply Crumb Cake ink around the edges. Adhere the gnome and tree ring to the card. Fussy cut leaves and butterflies from the Rings of Love and attach.

- Stamp a sentiment from the Kindest Gnomes stamp set using Versamark ink onto Basic Black and heat emboss with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. Add some 2022-2024 In Colour Matte Decorative Dots.

Happy Anniversary - Ringed with Nature - Just Add Ink - Sketch Challenge JAI616

Happy Anniversary - Ringed with Nature - Just Add Ink - Sketch Challenge JAI616

Hello again and welcome back to my blog! I have another Just Add Ink Design Team post for you today.

This week's challenge is the Just Add Ink #JAI616 - Sketch Challenge . I used the Ringed with Nature stamp set and the Rings of Love DSP which is a Sale-a-bration item available during July & August 2022.

You can get this paper for FREE when you spend $90 or more during these two months. I coordinated these products with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder and Garden Gems (retired - released with the Eden's Garden Bundle). You could substitute these with regular Rhinestone Basic Jewels coloured with Stampin' Blends if you don't have these gems available.

Click HERE if you would like to be taken straight to my store.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Night of Navy A4 card cut lengthwise and folded in half. Layer with a piece of Mint Macaron card which has had the edges distressed with Paper Snips and then another piece of Basic White embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.

- Fussy cut one of the Rings of Love DSP using Paper Snips and layer the pieces using Stampin' Dimensionals. Add the Garden Gems around the centre of the top piece to follow the pattern.

Stamp the sentiment from the Ringed with Nature stamp set onto Basic White card with Mint Macaron ink. Layer onto a strip of Basic White coloured with Stampin' Blends. Add a few extra Rhinestone Basic Jewels to complete the card.
