Hello and welcome back to my blog. I created todays card to join in the #TGIFC309 Inspiration Challenge. This weeks inspiration on the TGIF Challenges Blog is 'stamp your own DSP'.
I decided to do a tone on tone look with my card, and use the Pretty Peacock card (which will be retiring soon) as my 'paper'. I stamped a dragonfly from the Suite Sampler stamp set which is a Host Reward Set (in the Stampin' Up!® Jan-June Mini 2021 catalogue) if you spend more than $250 in the Australian Stampin' Up!® store (either personally or by hosting a party).
Instructions:
- Use a Basic White card base, A4 card, cut in half lengthwise.
- Cut a slightly smaller piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock. Stamp the dragonfly from the Suite Sampler stamp set onto the card using Pretty Peacock ink. Colour the wings with Wink of Stella and attach the card to the base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Stamp the sentiment from the Here's a Card stamp set onto a strip of Basic White card using Mint Macaron ink. Attach to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals after placing some gold trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo pack underneath.
- Attach some Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the front of the card.
- Use a piece of Pretty Peacock and a smaller piece of Basic White on the inside of the card and attach with Liquid Glue. Add a punched dragonfly onto the inside of the card.
