Happy Birthday - Gorgeous Leaves - #TGIFC335 Inspiration Challenge

Happy Birthday - Gorgeous Leaves - #TGIFC335 Inspiration Challenge

Hello again! Today's card is one I have entered into the TGIF Challenges #TGIFC335 Inspiration Challenge this week.

Now this week's challenge was based around a Fall / Harvest / Pumpkin theme. Here in Australia, it is Spring and the weather is warming up and the blossoms are in bloom. So I decided to use one of my new favourite stamp sets Gorgeous Leaves and give the leaf a  brighter colour to reflect the spring here with a watercolour background similar to the graphic in this weeks challenge.

For this card I used the Gorgeous Leaves Bundle (stamp set with coordinating dies). I also used the 'In Your Words' stamp set which is a free Sale-a-bration HOST rewards set available if you spend over AUD$250 in a single order in the Australian Stampin' Up!® store. Don't forget Sale-a-bration is finishing today the 30th September.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Basic White card, cut in half lengthwise and folded. Use a piece of Basic White card and emboss with the Bark Embossing Folder and attach to the card base Liquid Glue.

- Use one of the texture stamps from the Gorgeous Leaves set and apply Blushing Bride ink and then spritz with water and stamp onto a piece of Watercolour Paper. Spritz with water without reapplying ink and add some more residual ink on the stamp to the card to create a watercolour background. Splatter some more ink over the rest of the card . Attach this card to a slightly larger piece of Blushing Bride card. Attach these pieces to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Use the woodgrain stamp from the Gorgeous Leaves set and stamp with Versamark Ink onto a piece of Crumb Cake card. Heat emboss with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder. Die cut a leaf shape using the Intricate Leaves Dies. Attach the leaf to the front of the watercolour card with Liquid Glue. Cut a piece of White Glittered Organdy Ribbon into half lengthwise and use both pieces to tie a double bow and then attach to the leaf with a Mini Glue Dot.

- Stamp a sentiment from the 'In Your Words' stamp set onto Basic Black card with Versamark Ink and heat emboss with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. Attach the sentiment to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. Add some Subtle Shimmer Sequins with Liquid Glue.

Never not loving you - Seasonal Labels Dies, Intricate Labels Dies & Art in Bloom Stamp Set - #TGIFC331

Never not loving you - Seasonal Labels Dies, Intricate Labels Dies & Art in Bloom Stamp Set - #TGIFC331

Hello again! Today's card is one I made using a whole lot of different sets. I entered this card into this weeks TGIF Challenges Inspiration Challenge #TGIFC331 which was "Walk on the Wild side".

Now this weeks card is a last minute entry after a hectic week, so I do have to apologise for only getting one photo of this card. The leaves and branches were my main element to correlate with the challenge, but they almost remind me of a deer and its antlers which I think adds to the effect.

I used the new Seasonal Labels and Intricate Leaves Dies (from the Aug-Dec Mini Catalogue), as well as the Art in Bloom stamp set, Expressions in Ink Specialty DSP and the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.

(**Please note that it is the Intricate Leaves not Labels dies as in the title of the post. I have not amended the title as I did not want to affect the permalink for this post.**)

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Basic White A4 card, cut in half lengthwise and folded. Use another piece of Basic White card and emboss with the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder. Attach this piece to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Using the Seasonal Labels Dies, die cut some leaves from the Expressions in Ink DSP. Additionally cut some branches from Early Espresso card using the Intricate Leaves Dies. Arrange the die cuts on the card front and attach using Liquid Glue. Tie two bows using the Gold Simply Elegant Twine and attach to the leaves using a Mini Glue Dot.

- Stamp a sentiment from the Art in Bloom stamp set using Versamark ink onto Basic Black card, heat emboss with White Stampin' Emboss Powder and then attach to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. Finally add some Matte Black Dots to add some visual interest.

Don't forget to subscribe to my newsletter as I will have dimensions for this card.

Thank You - Gorgeous Leaves - #GDP302

Thank You - Gorgeous Leaves - #GDP302

Hello again! Today's card is one I have entered into the Global Design Project #GDP302 Sketch Challenge this week

I used the brand new Intricate Leaves dies which are part of the brand new Gorgeous Leaves Bundle being released on August 3rd with the brand new Aug-Dec 2021 Mini Catalogue from Stampin' Up!®. I also used the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder, Nature's Harvest stamp set (also coming in the new Mini Catalogue) and a WHOLE lot of ink blending.

As you would have seen from previous cards, I do love using pink. I decided to create a card using many shades of pink and coral and blended the card to create an ombré look both within each colour strip as well as the strips themselves.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Basic White A4 card, cut in half and folded. Mat a piece of Basic White card which has been embossed with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder and attach with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Using a piece of Basic White card, apply strips of ink colour with a Blending Brush sequentially on the card using a Post-It note to help create the lines of colour and ombré effects from bottom to top of the card. Cut each strip down to size and then attach each strip on the embossed Basic White card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Die cut 2 large leaves and two small leaves from Basic White card using the Intricate Leaves dies. Use a piece of White Glittered Organdy Ribbon that has been cut in half, and tie it into a bow around the stems of the two large leaves. Attach to the card using Mini Glue Dots. Tie another bow using the other half of the ribbon and also attach to the large leaves using Mini Glue Dots. Attach both the smaller leaves to the card using Mini Glue Dots.

- Stamp a sentiment from the Nature's Harvest stamp set with Tuxedo Black Ink onto a piece of Basic White card. Glue this piece to a slightly larger piece of Basic White card and then attach the to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. Add some Rhinestone Basic jewels to the card.

Don't forget to subscribe to my newsletter as I will have dimensions for this card.
