Thinking of You - Simply Zinnia - Use Your Stash June 2025

Thinking of You - Simply Zinnia - Use Your Stash June 2025

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the 'Use Your Stash" Instagram Hop. I am joined by an amazing lineup of crafters so make sure you go to my Instagram page HERE to see the rest of the team's creations.

The aim of the hop is to use up some of the huge stash that we all accumulate. Hopefully it will also inspire both ourselves and others to combine some of our old and new products to reduce that stash.

This month's theme is "Beautiful Blossoms". This challenge was a little difficult as I have used a lot of my favourite florals for this hop in the last few months. But as you know, the aim of this challenge is to use your stash, so I dug out florals I felt I hadn’t used enough while they were current. I tried to mix a bit of old with a bit of new by mixing in some of the new 2025-2027 In Colours.

I used the Simply Zinnia stamp set and dies and mixed it with other products from that suite including the Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder and the Flowering Zinnias DSP. I also used Rhinestone Basic Jewels and Stampin' Blends.

Instructions:

- Use Melon Mambo card for the base. Use a piece of Basic White card and layer with another piece of a Basic White card embossed with the Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder. Tear a piece of the Flowering Zinnias DSP and adhere to the top of the card.

- Die cut multiple flowers pieces with the Simply Zinnia Dies from Melon Mambo, Timid Tiger and Darling Duckling card. Add some more definition to the pieces using Stampin' Blends (in the same colours) and then adhere the pieces together.  Stamp leaves using the Simply Zinnia stamp set onto Lemon Lime Twist card with Lemon Lime Twist ink. Fussy cut or use the dies to die cut out the leaves

- Layer the flowers and leaves onto the card. Stamp the sentiment onto Basic White card using Tuxedo Black ink, fussy cut and adhere to the card. Add some Rhinestone Basic Jewels both to the flowers and to the card front.
