Happy Birthday - Wild Bunch & Classic Letters - GDP555 Theme Challenge


Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Project's Theme Challenge! This week our theme is "Numbers". Make sure to visit the Global Design Project's Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the rest of the team's entries.

I used the Wild Bunch & Classic Letters (retired) stamp sets, Beautiful Ordinary Life and Everyday Essentials DSP, 2 3/8" Circle Punch,Stampin' Blends and Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots.



Instructions:

- Use Basic White for the card base and layer with various pieces of the Beautiful Ordinary Life and Everyday Essentials DSP. 

- Stamp from the Wild Bunch stamp set using Tuxedo Black ink and stamp the number '5' from the Classic Letters stamp set using Pool Party ink onto Basic White. Fussy cut all the images out. 

- Use a circle punch to cut a circle from Basic White card and use Stampin' Blends to add details to the circle, and to colour the stamped and cut pieces. Adhere all the pieces to the card. 

- Stamp a sentiment from the Wild Bunch stamp set onto Basic White using Tuxedo Black ink, mat with a piece of the Beautiful Ordinary Life DSP and adhere. Finally add some Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots to complete.

Thinking Of You - Simply Beautiful - GDP554 Sketch Challenge


Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Project's Sketch Challenge! Make sure to visit the Global Design Project's Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the rest of the team's entries.

I turned the sketch to the side and used the Simply Beautiful stamp set, Everyday Essentials Mix & Match DSP, Stampin' Blends and 2025-2027 In Colour Flat Pearls.

Instructions:

- Use Lost Lagoon for the card base and layer with Basic White. Use different pieces from the Everyday Essentials Mix & Match DSP to layer onto the card and mimic the sketch.

- Stamp images from the Simply Beautiful stamp set using Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White. Fussy cut all the images and colour with Stampin' Blends in colours that coordinate with the DSP.

- Stamp a sentiment from the Simply Beautiful set onto Basic White using Tuxedo Black ink and fussy cut. Adhere the images and sentiment to the card. Finally add some 2025-2027 In Colour Flat Pearls to complete.

You Are So Appreciated - All Aflutter - GDP553 Colour Challenge


Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Project's Colour Challenge! This week we are using Peaceful Pine, Barely Blush and Timid Tiger. Make sure to visit the Global Design Project's Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the rest of the team's entries.

I used the All Aflutter stamp set, Beautiful Ordinary Life and Bloom Boutique Specialty DSP, Barely Blush Two-Toned Cardstock, Stampin' Blends and 2026-2028 In Colour Butterflies.


Instructions:

- Use Peaceful Pine for the card base and layer with two pieces (lighter and darker) of Barely Blush Two-Toned card stock.Tear the ends of a piece of the Bloom Boutique Specialty DSP and layer. Then add a layer of the Beautiful Ordinary Life DSP that has been coloured with Stampin' Blends.

- Stamp butterflies from the  All Aflutter stamp set using Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White and either punch or fussy cut the images out. Colour with Stampin' Blends in the challenge colours and adhere the pieces to the card.

- Stamp a sentiment from the All Aflutter stamp set onto Basic White using Tuxedo Black ink and adhere. Finally add some Barely Blush 2026-2028 In Colour Butterflies to complete.

Sincere Thanks - Fern & Flora - GDP552 Case the Designer Challenge


Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Project's Case the Designer Challenge! This week we are CASEing  Jay Soriano. Make sure to visit the Global Design Project's Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the rest of the team's entries.

I was inspired by the garden themes and use of colours in Jay's card. I used products from the new Moonlit Flora Suite Collection including the Fern & Flora Bundle, Moonlit Flora DSP and Dewdrops Embellishments.


Instructions:

- Use Secret Sea for the card base and layer with pieces of the Moonlit Flora DSP. Layer with a smaller piece of Basic Beige card. 

- Die cut various leaves from cardstock coordinating with the DSP colours using the Fern & Flora Dies and layer onto the card. Fussy cut a large butterfly from the DSP and adhere.

- Stamp a sentiment from the Fern & Flora stamp set onto Basic White using Tuxedo Black ink and adhere. Finally add some Dewdrops Embellishments to complete.
