Wishing You Joy - Greatest Journey - GDP386 Sketch Challenge

Wishing You Joy - Greatest Journey - GDP386 Sketch Challenge

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for Global Design Project's GDP386 Sketch Challenge . This week we have an interesting Sketch Challenge. Initially I was going to use the exact shapes for the challenge but once I saw the large floral stamp, I knew if would be perfect for this challenge,

I used the Greatest Journey Stamp Set, colouring the images with Stampin' Blends (using predominantly colours from the DSP). I used the Enjoy the Journey DSP which is part of the same suite and Solid Faceted Gems.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Melon Mambo A4 card, cut in half lengthwise and folded. Layer with a piece of Basic White card and then a piece of the Enjoy the Journey DSP.

- Stamp the large floral from the Greatest Journey stamp set onto Basic White using Tuxedo Black ink. Colour the image with Stampin' Blends using coordinating colours from the DSP (Shaded Spruce, Highland Heather, Mango Melody (retired), Melon Mambo, Polished Pink, Pumpkin Pie and Starry Sky).

- Stamp the sentiment from the Greatest Journey stamp set onto a strip of Basic White using Highland Heather ink. Add some Melon Mambo Solid Faceted Gems to complete.
