A Little Hello - Boughs & Blossoms - GDP344 Case The Designer Challenge

A Little Hello - Boughs & Blossoms - GDP344 Case The Designer Challenge

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today's card is for Global Design Project's #GDP344 Case The Designer . Today we are CASEing the amazing Charlet Mallett.

I love Charlet's original card with all its vibrant colours. I decided to use the florals and layout as inspiration for my card today. I used the Boughs & Blossoms stamp set, Bough Punch and 2021-2023 In Colour Opal Rounds. I also used the just retired Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder. Don't forget this stamp set will be retiring at the end of June, and it is a perfect set for easy to create floral card especially with the coordinating Bough Punch.

Instructions:

- Use Gray Granite A4 card cut in half lengthwise and folded for the card base. Layer with a piece of the Basic White card embossed with the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder (retired).

- Stamp the flowers and leaves using Polished Pink, Daffodil Delight, Parakeet Party and Tahitian Tide inks onto Basic White card and fussy cut. Punch leaves using the Bough Punch from Gray Granite and Parakeet Party. Adhere all of the flowers and leaves to the card.

Stamp the sentiment from the Boughs & Blossoms stamp set using Versamark ink onto Basic  Gray card and heat emboss with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. Add some Polished Pink 2021-2023 In Colour Opal Rounds.

Best Wishes - Cottage Rose & Happiness Abounds - Just Add Ink - Case of Yourself JAI604

Best Wishes - Cottage Rose & Happiness Abounds - Just Add Ink - Case of Yourself JAI604

Hello again and welcome back to my blog! I have another Just Add Ink Design Team post for you today.

This week's challenge is the Just Add Ink #JAI604- Case of Yourself . I find CASEing both fun and hard at the same time, especially when trying to CASE myself. I have had a wonderful time on the Just Add Ink Design Team and one of my all time favourite cards is the one I created for my first challenge win at Just Add Ink JAI569. It was the "Just Add 'N'" challenge in late August 2021, which was just a couple of weeks before I joined the JAI Design Team.  I used the Hand Penned Petals stamp set and various greys, pinks and sparkle for the card. You can see that card HERE.

For today's card I decided to use a whole host of products including the Cottage Flowers Dies from the Cottage Rose Bundle, Texture Chic Specialty DSP, Distressed Gold Specialty Paper and the Happiness Abounds stamp set for the sentiment. I also used the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder and some 2021-2023 In Colour Opal Rounds.

Here is my original card from JAI569

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Evening Evergreen A4 card cut lengthwise and folded in half. Layer with a piece of Basic White, and then another piece of Basic White embossed with the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder. Adhere a strip of the Texture Chic Specialty DSP and a strip of the Distressed Gold Specialty Paper from the Texture Chic Suite.

- Die cut pieces from Basic White and Mango Melody card using the Cottage Rose Dies. Colour the pieces with Stampin' Blends (Petal Pink and Soft Succulent) and adhere to the card.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Happiness Abounds stamp set onto Basic White using Evening Evergreen Ink and attach to a piece of the Texture Chic DSP and then adhere to the card. Add some 2021-2023 In Colour Opal Rounds.

Here is a closer look at all those gold accents on the Texture Chic Specialty DSP and also the Distressed Gold Specialty Paper.

Happy Birthday - Cottage Rose - Inspire and Create with Stampin' Up!®

Happy Birthday - Cottage Rose - Inspire and Create with Stampin' Up!®

Hello and welcome back! So today's post is for the Inspire and Create with Stampin' Up!® team which is a group of Stampin' Up!® demonstrators sharing our creations every 2 weeks highlighting different techniques and themes.

Today's theme is "Colouring" with you favourite colouring medium. For this card I used the brand new Cottage Rose bundle (consisting of the Cottage Rose stamp set and Cottage Flowers Dies) and the coordinating Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper. I coloured the images with my favourite colouring medium Stampin' Blends and also added some highlights with the Watercolour Pencils from Stampin' Up!®

Instructions:

- Use Soft Succulent A4 card cut in half lengthwise and folded. Mat with a piece of Abigail Rose DSP. Stamp the images from the Cottage Rose stamp set using Smoky Slate onto Basic White and die cut with the Cottage Flowers Dies).

- Colour the images with Stampin' Blends (Soft Succulent for the leaves, Fresh Freesia, Polished Pink and Pale Papaya for the flowers). Use the Colour Lifter to help lighten areas.  Add some highlights to the flowers with Watercolour Pencils (Gorgeous Grape, Flirty Flamingo and Calypso Coral).

- Stamp a sentiment from the Cottage Rose stamp set using Smoky Slate ink onto the Abigail Rose DSP and then mat onto Soft Succulent card. Add some Very Vanilla Twine and some 2021-2023 In Colour Opal Rounds
