Happy Birthday - Virtual Cardmaking Retreat Stamp - GDP540 Case the Designer

Happy Birthday - Virtual Cardmaking Retreat Stamp - GDP540 Case the Designer

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Project's Case the Designer Challenge where this week we are CASEing the amazing Monique de Kok! Make sure to visit the Global Design Project's Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the rest of the team's entries.

I was inspired by the florals, soft colours and layout of Monique's card and also wanted to use the 2024-2026 In Colours before they retire later this year. I used the stamp set that came with the Virtual Cardmaking Retreat Kit (still available for purchase with the kit). I also used the 2024-2026 In Colour 6"x6" DSP, Stampin' Blends and the 2024-2026 In Colour Resin Dots.

Instructions:

- Use Peach Pie cardstock for the card base and layer with Basic White card and then a piece of the 2024-2026 In Colour 6"x6" DSP.

- Stamp the large floral image from the Virtual Cardmaking Retreat Stamp using Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White card and fussy cut the images. I fussy cut them apart to use the stamp a different way.

- Colour all the fussy cut pieces using Stampin' Blends ( Peach Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Petunia Pop, Summer Splash and Shy Shamrock).

- Stamp a sentiment from the Virtual Cardmaking Retreat Stamp onto Basic White using Tuxedo Black ink and adhere. Finally add some 2024-2026 In Colour Resin Dots to complete.

Be sure to check out the rest of the Global Design Team's challenge inspiration from the blog links below as well as their Instagram and Facebook pages.

Every Day With You - He's All That - Use Your Stash Challenge March 2026

Every Day With You - He's All That - Use Your Stash Challenge March 2026

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the 'Use Your Stash" Instagram Hop March 2026. I am joined by an amazing lineup of crafters so make sure you go to my Instagram page HERE to see the rest of the team's creations.

The aim of the hop is to use up some of the huge stash that we all accumulate. Hopefully it will also inspire both ourselves and others to combine some of our old and new products to reduce that stash.

This month's theme is "For The Men". I didn’t realise I had so many masculine sets given my frequent use of flowers but when I rummaged through my stash I found a number of sets and DSP that I could use. I ended up settling on the He's All That stamp set and Take To The Sky DSP, which while being from different suites, matched perfectly for this card.

Instructions:

- Use Smoky Slate card for the base and layer with Basic White card. Layer two different pieces of the Take to the Sky DSP.

- Stamp corner piece images and the sentiment from the He's All That stamp set onto Basic White card using Night of Navy ink.  Die cut the sentiment and a layering piece of Night of Navy card using the coordinating All That Dies.

- Adhere the various images onto the card. Finally add some strips of Night of Navy card to add some more detailing to complete the card.
