Happy Birthday - Lovely Arrangements - GDP536 Case the Designer Challenge

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Project's Case the Designer Challenge where this week we are CASEing the wonderful Leah Dixon! Make sure to visit the Global Design Project Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the rest of the team's entries.

I was inspired by the general layout of Leah's card and used die cut card to mimic the three strips of paper. I used the Lovely Arrangements stamp and die bundle, Lovely Blossoms DSP and Moody Palette Glossy Dots.

Instructions:

- Use Secret Sea cardstock for the card base and layer with Basic White card and then a piece of the Lovely Blossom DSP.

- Use the Lovely Arrangements Dies and die cut the conjoined circle piece using Secret Sea card and layer onto the card.

- Use some of the Lovely Blossom DSP and fussy cut flowers from it. Use the Lovely Arrangements dies to fussy cut leaves from the DSP and then layer these pieces onto the card.

- Stamp a sentiment from the Lovely Arrangements stamp set onto Basic White using Secret Sea ink and adhere. Finally add some Cloud Cover Moody Palette Glossy Dots to complete.

It's Your Birthday - Hot Dog - Use Your Stash Challenge February 2026

It's Your Birthday - Hot Dog - Use Your Stash Challenge February 2026

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the 'Use Your Stash" Instagram Hop February 2026. I am joined by an amazing lineup of crafters so make sure you go to my Instagram page HERE to see the rest of the team's creations.

The aim of the hop is to use up some of the huge stash that we all accumulate. Hopefully it will also inspire both ourselves and others to combine some of our old and new products to reduce that stash.

This month's theme is "Animals". I used an old favourite the Hot Dog stamp set whose images remind me of my dog who passed away in October of last year. I also used Fresh Freesia ribbon (retired), Stampin' Blends and 2024-2026 In Color Resin Dots (retired). I coloured the images to mimic my dogs markings.

Instructions:

- Use Petunia Pop card for the base. Use a piece of Fresh Freesia card and then adhere a piece of Basic White card on top. Tie a piece of Fresh Freesia ribbon vertically around the two piece of card with a knot at the top of the card. Tie another piece of the same ribbon horizontally across the card to mimic ribbon wrapped around a present.

- Stamp images from the Hot Dog stamp set onto Basic White card using Tuxedo Black ink. Colour with Stampin' Blends (colours that coordinate with the card layers) and fussy cut. Stamp the sentiment from the Hot Dog stamp set onto a strip of Basic White using Tuxedo Black ink and then mat onto some Fresh Freesia card.

- Adhere the various images onto and inside the card. Add the sentiment on top of the ribbon and finally add some 2024-2026 In Color Resin Dots to complete.
