Let's Celebrate - Cutest Crew and Cheers & Sips - GDP551 - Theme Challenge


Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Project's "Animal" Theme Challenge. Make sure to visit the Global Design Project's Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the rest of the team's entries.

I used the Cutest Crew Crew Bundle and Cheers & Sips (retired) stamp set. I also used the Party Alphabet Dies, Splash of Sparkles Specialty DSP and Stampin' Blends.


Instructions:

- Use Bubble Bath for the card base and layer with Basic White card. Layer with a piece of the Splash of Sparkles Specialty DSP.

- Stamp images from the Cutest Crew stamp set using Tuxedo Black onto Basic White and die cut using the coordinating dies and fussy cut the images apart. Colour the images with various Stampin' Blends. 

- Use the Party Alphabet Dies to die cut the letters H and B three times and layer together to add thickness to the letters. Adhere to the card front and then adhere the various coloured animals.

- Stamp a sentiment from the Cheer & Sips stamp set onto Basic White using Tuxedo Black ink and mat the sentiment onto strips of Bubble Bath card and adhere.

Just A Note - Beautiful Motifs - GDP550 Sketch Challenge


Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Project's Sketch Challenge. Make sure to visit the Global Design Project's Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the rest of the team's entries.

I used the Beautiful Motifs stamp set, Artisan Sketched Garden DSP, Splash of Sparkles Specialty DSP, Stampin' Blends, Crosshatch Basics Embossing Folder (retired) and Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots.


Instructions:

- Use Basic Beige for the card base and  layer with Basic White card. Emboss another piece of Basic Beige with the Crosshatch Basics Embossing Folder and layer onto the card. Add a square of the Splash of Sparkles Specialty DSP to the card to mimic the sketch.

- Fussy cut images from the Artisan Sketched Garden DSP and colour with Stampin' Blends. Stamp a sentiment from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set onto Basic White using Tuxedo Black ink and mat the sentiment onto a strip of Basic Beige card and adhere. Finally add some Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card to complete.

Thinking of You - All Aflutter - GDP549 Colour Challenge


Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Project's Colour Challenge where we are using Hydrangea Hue, Golden Glow and Crisp Cantaloupe. Make sure to visit the Global Design Project's Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the rest of the team's entries.

I used the new All Aflutter Bundle, Heirloom Boutique Two-Tone Cardstock, Bloom Boutique Sticker Sheet, Stampin' Blends and Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels (retired).


Instructions:

- Use Crisp Cantaloupe (lighter side) Heirloom Boutique Two-Tone Cardstock for the card base and layer with Basic White card. Use a "smooshing" technique, Golden Glow Stampin' Blends and Isopropyl Alcohol to create a background on another piece of Basic White card. Splatter with Hydrangea Hue. 

- Stamp images from the All Aflutter onto Basic White card using Tuxedo Black ink. Punch the images using the All Aflutter Punch and then colour with Stampin' Blends in the challenge colours. 

- Stamp a sentiment from the All Aflutter stamp set onto Basic White using Tuxedo Black ink and mat the sentiment onto a piece of Golden Glow card (from the Bloom Boutique Sitcker Sheet) and adhere. Finally add some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card to complete.

I'm Filled With Love - Heirloom Boutique- GDP548 Case the Designer Challenge


Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Project's Case the Designer Challenge! This week we are CASEing the amazing Kim Fee. Make sure to visit the Global Design Project's Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the rest of the team's entries.

I was inspired by the layout and colours from Kim's card. I used the new Heirloom Boutique Bundle, combining it with the Bloom Boutique Specialty DSP, and Heirloom Boutique Two-Tone Cardstock. I also used Stampin' Blends and the brand new White Gel Pens to add some little details. 


Instructions:

- Use Hydrangea Hue Heirloom Boutique Two-Tone Cardstock for the card base and the opposite lighter side for the next layer after scoring it with a bone folder to add interest. Layer with Basic White card and then pieces of the Bloom Boutique Speciality DSP

- Stamp images from the Heirloom Boutique onto Basic White card using Tuxedo Black ink. Fussy or die cut the images and then colour with Stampin' Blends that coordinate with Hydrangea Hue.

- Stamp a sentiment from the Heirloom Boutique stamp set. onto Basic White using Tuxedo Black ink and mat the sentiment onto a piece of Hydrangea Hue card and adhere. Use a White Gel Pen to add details to the card to complete.
