Have a Stellar Birthday - Stellar Birthday Stamp Set - #GDP291- Birthday Challenge.

Have a Stellar Birthday - Stellar Birthday Stamp Set - #GDP291- Birthday Challenge.

Hello and welcome back to my blog. I have a card for you today that I created for the Global Design Project Challenge #291 this week. The challenge this week is a 'theme challenge" featuring a "Birthday" theme.

I decided to use one of the very cute new stamp sets "Stellar Birthday" from the brand new Stampin' Up® Annual Catalogue, and combined it with a whole lot of ink blending and the new "Picture This" Dies.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Basic Black card for the base A4 cut in half lengthwise and folded.

- Use another slightly smaller piece of Basic White  and attach it to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Use a piece of Shimmery White cardstock, and blend the following inks onto it - Bermuda Bay, Polished Pink, Gorgeous Grape, Misty Moonlight and Tuxedo Black using the Blending Brushes. Once happy with the blend, spritz some water and dab off, then splatter some Wink of Stella to create a galaxy/starry look to the card.

- Use the Picture This Dies to cut circles from the blended card. Keep the circles to re-place on the finished card.

- Stamp the sentiment and images from the Stellar Birthday stamp set onto Basic White card and colour with stamping blends. Fussy cut the images out and trim the sentiment. Mat the sentiment onto a piece of Polished Pink card.

- Cut another piece of Basic White card to the same size as the blended Shimmery White card. Stamp some of the stars in the Stellar Birthday stamp set onto the Basic White using Tuxedo Black corresponding with the smaller circles in the blended card. Use the Blending Brushes to add some of the previous ink colours to it, and colour the stars with Highland Heather blends. Attach this piece to the blended card with Liquid Glue.

- Attach the larger die cut circles back onto the blended card into their correspond die cut holes (rotated to add interest), using Stampin' Dimensionals. Attach the sentiment and the images onto the larger circles using Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Use Wink of Stella on the Rocket image and the smaller circles.

- Adhere some 2021-2023 In Colour Jewels to the  card.

As always, I find that the shimmer on the card never really photographs well, so I have added a quick video below to show you some of the shine on the card.

I will have measurements for this card in my newsletter so don't forget to subscribe.

I wanted to show some of the new products from the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue and some of the new 2021-2023 In Colours. I used the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set, the coordinating Penned Flower Dies, and used the new Pale Papaya card stock as well as the new In Colour Stampin' Blends.

Instructions:

Use a piece of Very Vanilla for the card base. Use a smaller piece of Pale Papaya card and adhere to the Vanilla base with Liquid Glue.

Use a piece of Very Vanilla and stamp a floral image multiple times from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set using Pale Papaya ink to create a patterned paper appearance. Mat this piece of stamped Very Vanilla onto a piece of Smoky Slate card using Liquid Glue. Attach the two pieces to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Stamp an additional floral image from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp onto another piece of Very Vanilla card using Smoky Slate ink. Die cut the flower using the Penned Flowers Dies. Colour the die cut image using Stampin' Blends - Pale Papaya & Polished Pink for the flowers and Soft Succulent & Evening Evergreen for the leaves. Tie a piece of Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon around the die cut flower stem and then attach the flower to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Stamp the sentiment from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp onto a strip of Very Vanilla and mat with a piece of Smoky Slate (using Liquid Glue). Attach the sentiment onto the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Add some Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels and Genial Gems to the card.

Measurements:

Congratulations - Daisy Garden Stamp

Congratulations - Daisy Garden Stamp

Hello again and welcome back! So I couldn't help myself and had to create another card for a couple of challenges again this week. I absolutely love bright colours and the new products from the Stampin' Up!® 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue, just invite me to use them. I entered this card into two challenges this week. Firstly the TGIF Challenge Blog - #TGIFC315 - Colour Challenge and also the The Spot Creative Challenge - Spot Challenge 160 - Congratulations.

This card just uses some simple stamping and colouring. I used the Dasiy Garden Stamp Set and Stampin' Blends to colour the flowers. The colours for the #TGIFC315 Colour Challenge are Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight and Magenta Madness.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Magenta Madness card A4 cut in half lengthwise and folded. Layer a smaller piece of Basic Black onto the card base and attach with Liquid Glue. Attach a piece of Crumb Cake card and also attach with Liquid Glue.

- Stamp the Daisy Garden stamp (using a Stamparatus) onto Basic White card using Tuxedo Black ink.

- Colour the flowers using the Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight and Magenta Madness Stampin' Blends. Colour the leaves and stalks using Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends.

- Flick Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight and Magenta Madness inks onto the card to add dimension to the background. Attach the card front to the card base using Liquid Glue.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Art Gallery stamp set using Tuxedo Black onto Basic White card. Mat this piece with Basic Black card and attach to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Add some Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card.

- Use a piece of Basic White on the inside of the card.

Don't forget to subscribe to my newsletter as I will have dimensions for this card.
