Missing You - Thoughtful Wishes - JAI712 Sketch Challenge


Hello and welcome back to my blog! I have another Just Add Ink Design Team post for you today. This week's challenge is the Just Add Ink #JAI712 Sketch Challenge .

I used the Thoughtful Wishes Bundle, Thoughtful Journey DSP, 2" Circle Punch stamp set and 2024-2026 In Colour Shimmer Gems.



Instructions:

- Use Petunia Pop for the card base, layered with Basic White card and then a piece of Wild Wheat card. Use a slightly smaller piece of the Thoughtful Journey DSP and cut into 4 pieces and layer to mimic the sketch .
 
- Use a 2" Circle Punch to punch out a circle from the leftover piece of the Thoughtful Journey DSP and adhere with Stampin' dimensionals to the card.

- Die cut a piece of Basic White card using the Thoughtful Wishes Dies and cut the large die cut into two and layer onto the punched circle.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Thoughtful Wishes stamp set using Petunia Pop onto Basic White, mat with a piece of Petunia Pop card and adhere. Add Petunia Pop 2024-2026 In Colour Shimmer Gems to complete.

Best Friend Ever - Country Flowers - GDP455 Theme Challenge


Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Project's GDP455 "Circles" Theme Challenge. Visit the Global Design Project Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the entries.

For my card I used the Country Flowers Bundle colouring the images with Stampin' Blends. I also used a 2" Circle Punch, Hobnail-Glass Basics Embossing Folder and 2024-2026 In Colour Shimmer Gems.


Instructions:

- Use Shy Shamrock card for the card base. Layer with a piece of Basic White embossed with the Hobnail Glass Embossing Folder.

- Punch out circles from Basic White card using a 2" Circle Punch. Colour these with Shy Shamrock and Summer Splash Stampin' Blends diluting with Isopropyl Alcohol. Layer the circles onto the card.

- Stamp images from the Country Flower set onto Basic White card using Tuxedo Black ink. Colour the images with Stampin' Blends (Lemon Lolly, Pumpkin Pie, Calypso Coral, Pretty in Pink, Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather, Berry Burst,Granny Apple Green, Cajun Craze and Smoky Slate). Use the Country Flowers Dies to cut the stamped images out and adhere to the card.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Country Flowers stamp set onto Basic White card with Tuxedo Back ink. Finally add some 2024-2026 In Colour Shimmer Gems to complete the card.

Happy Birthday - Pocket Thoughts - CAS on Friday


Hello and welcome back to my blog! My card for today is for this week's CAS on Friday Challenge #288 where the theme is to 'Use Circles'. 

For my card today, I used the Pocket Thoughts stamp set, Spotlight on Nature Dies, Bright & Beautiful Memories & More Card Pack (retired), Stampin' Blends for colouring and Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots.

Instructions:

- Use a card from the Bright & Beautiful Memories & More Card Pack for the card base. Layer with a piece of Basic White card which has the sentiment from the Pocket Thoughts stamped onto it with Tuxedo Black ink. 

- Die cut circles from Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath and Fresh Freesia card using the Spotlight on Nature Dies and adhere to the front of the card. 

- Stamp the image from the Pocket Thoughts set using Tuxedo Black onto Basic White and fussy cut. Colour with Stampin' Blends (Lemon Lolly, Pretty in Pink, Bubble Bath and Pecan Pie)

- Add some Lemon Lolly Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card to complete.

Let's Celebrate - Simply Said - GDP454 Sketch Challenge


Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Project's GDP454 Sketch Challenge. Visit the Global Design Project Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the entries.

For my card, I used the Simply Said Stamp set for the sentiment, and combined it with the Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack and Frames & Flowers Specialty DSP. I also used the Deckled Circles Dies as well as Rhinestone Basic Jewels to complete the card.

Instructions:

- Use Lost Lagoon card for the card base. Layer with a narrower strip of Basic White which is layered with a piece of the Frames & Flowers Specialty DSP.

- Die cut a circle from Basic White card using the Deckled Circles Dies. Apply some Petal Pink and Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends mixed with Isopropyl Alcohol to add some background colour to the circle. 

- Use a flower from the Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack and also some leaves and flowers from the Frames & Flowers Specialty DSP to create the focal images. 

- Stamp the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set onto Basic White card with Tuxedo Back ink. Finally add some Rhinestone Basic Jewels to complete.
