To One of the Nicest People - Lily of the Valley - GDP544 Case the Designer Challenge

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Project's Case the Designer Challenge where this week we are CASEing Wendy Weixler! Make sure to visit the Global Design Project's Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the rest of the team's entries.

I was inspired by Wendy's design, colours and use of florals. For my card I used products from the upcoming brand new Valley In Bloom Suite Collection including the Lily of the Valley Bundle, Valley in Bloom DSP and Shimmering Dots.

Instructions:

- Use Pretty Peacock for the card base and layer with Basic Beige. Layer with two different pieces from the Valley in Bloom DSP.

- Stamp images from the Lily of the Valley stamp set using Tuxedo Black onto Basic White. Die cut these images using the coordinating Lily of the Valley Dies. Colour the images with Stampin' Blends coordinating with the suite.

- Stamp a sentiment from the Lily of the Valley Stamp onto Basic White using Tuxedo Black ink, layer onto a piece of Pretty Peacock card and adhere. Finally add some Linen Thread tied in a bow and Shimmering Dots to complete.

Be sure to check out the rest of the Global Design Team's challenge inspiration from the blog links below as well as their Instagram and Facebook pages.

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Project's Theme Challenge where this week's theme is "Pattern"! Make sure to visit the Global Design Project's Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the rest of the team's entries.

I interpreted the patterns theme using the repetitive dots from the embossing folder, enamel dots and the repetitive pattern on the patterned card. I also repeated the butterflies from the patterned card with the butterfly images on the card.

For my card I used the Simply Said stamp set, Days Like This Memories & More Card Pack, Hobnail Glass Dots Embossing Folder (retired) and Muted Palette Dots.

Instructions:

- Use Daffodil Delight for the card base and layer with Basic White card. Emboss another piece of Basic White card using the Hobnail Glass Dots Embossing Folder and adhere.

- Use cards and fussy cut images from the Days Like This Memories & More Card Pack and layer onto the card.

- Stamp a sentiment from the Simply Said Stamp onto Basic White using Tuxedo Black ink, layer onto a piece of Daffodil Delight card and adhere. Finally add some Muted Palette Dots to complete.

I Appreciate You - You Are Remarkable & Thoughtful Wishes - Use Your Stash Challenge April 2026

I Appreciate You - You Are Remarkable & Thoughtful Wishes - Use Your Stash Challenge April 2026

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the 'Use Your Stash" Instagram Hop April 2026. I am joined by an amazing lineup of crafters so make sure you go to my Instagram page HERE to see the rest of the team's creations.

The aim of the hop is to use up some of the huge stash that we all accumulate. Hopefully it will also inspire both ourselves and others to combine some of our old and new products to reduce that stash.

This month's theme is "Pretty Pastels". One of my all time favourite Pastel colours is So Saffron which retired a few years back. I decided to use it as my primary Pastel and add some other retired Pastel colours and neutrals to create my card. I used the You Are Remarkable (images) and Thoughtful Wishes (sentiment) stamp sets, combining them with the Happy Forest Friends DSP and Stampin' Blends in retired colours.

Instructions:

- Use Sahara Sand card for the base and layer with Basic White card. Stamp a pattern on a smaller piece of Sahara Sand card using the You Are Remarkable stamp set, Sahara Sand ink and a second generation stamping technique. Layer with two different pieces of the Happy Forest Friends DSP (edges distressed) and a piece of So Saffron card.

- Stamp the image from the You Are Remarkable set and the sentiment from the Thoughtful Wishes stamp sets using Tuxedo Black onto Basic White card. Fussy cut the image and sentiment. Use retired Pastel Stampin' Blends to colour the floral image (So Saffron, Seaside Spray, Purple Posy, Rococo Rose, Mint Macaron and Mango Melody).

- Adhere the image and sentiment onto the card. Finally add some Rhinestone Basic Jewels coloured with So Saffron Stampin' Blends to complete.
