You Are The Best - Timeless Arrangements - FAB Instahop

Hello and welcome back to my blog! My card for today is for the FAB Instahop Design Team Monthly hop. We are a team of demonstrators from all over the world who are sharing creations on Instagram sparked by monthly challenges. This month our challenge is "Favourite Colour Combination". Pinks are always a favourite so when Stampin' Up!® brought out new Bubble Bath and Berry Burst I had to incorporate those colours into this challenge. I combined them with two new favourite 2023-2025 In Colours and Crumb Cake (and a tiny spot of Moody Mauve in the gems).

I used the Timeless Arrangements Bundle (stamp set and dies) combined with the Bright & Beautiful DSP and the 2023-2025 In Colour DSP. I also added the Moody Mauve 2023-2025 In Colour Dots.

Visit my Instagram page HERE to see all the creations from the rest of the team.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Crumb Cake card for the card base, and layer with Basic White card and then a piece of the Bubble Bath coloured Bright & Beautiful DSP.

- Use a 2 3/8" Circle Punch to punch out a piece of the Pebble Path 2023-2025 In Colour DSP.  Stamp leaves and flowers from the Timeless Arrangements set onto Basic White card using Wild Wheat and Pebbled Path ink respectively.

- Die cut leaves from a piece of the Bright & Beautiful DSP (Berry Burst and Bubble Bath in colour) as well as from Wild Wheat cardstock. Adhere the pieces on top of the punched DSP circle.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Timeless Arrangment set on Basic White using Tuxedo Black ink and layer onto a strip of the Wild Wheat 2023-2025 In Colour DSP and then onto the card.  Add some Moody Mauve 2023-2025 In Colour to complete.

With Gratitude - Earthen Textures - CAS on Friday

With Gratitude - Earthen Textures - CAS on Friday

Hello and welcome back to my blog! My card for today is for this week's CAS on Friday Challenge #258 theme which is "Embossing". I decided to use both types of embossing on my card by using an embossing folder for the background as well as heat embossing the sentiment.

For my card, I used the Earthen Textures stamp set and coordinating dies, Earthen Elegance DSP, Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder and Pebbles Enamel Shapes (retired).

Make sure to visit the blog HERE to see the rest of the team's projects.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Pebbled Path card for the card base, and layer with a piece of Basic White card embossed with the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder. Use a square of the Earthen Elegance DSP and adhere onto the card.

- Die cut leaves using Copper Clay card and the Earthen Textures Dies and adhere to the card using Liquid Glue.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Earthen Textures set onto Pebbled Path card using Versamark ink and heat emboss with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. Add some Pebble Enamel Shapes (retired) to complete.

Happy Birthday - Rhino Ready - GDP395 Theme Challenge

Happy Birthday - Rhino Ready - GDP395 Theme Challenge

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for Global Design Project's GDP395 Theme Challenge . This week we have a fun theme challenge.

I actually created this for my child's birthday as this fun stamp set has such fun images. I used the Rhino Ready Bundle (stamp set and dies) and Stampin' Blends to colour the images.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Parakeet Party A4 card, cut in half lengthwise and folded. Mat with a piece of Basic White card which has had a Tahitian Tide blended onto it using a Blending Brush.

- Stamp multiple pieces of grass, the rhino and balloon from the Rhino ready set using Smoky Slate onto Basic White and use the Rhino Ready dies to die cut the pieces. Use Stampin' Blends (Smoky Slate, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, Parakeet Party) to colour the Rhino and Grass.

- Use Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody (retired) Stampin' Blends to colour the balloon.
Die cut additional pieces of grass and the party hat from Parakeet Party and DSP respectively.  Use Stampin' Blends to colour some of the die-cut pieces of grass to add texture.

Stamp a sentiment using Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White card. Add some Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the party hat and various leaves to complete.

Celebrate You - Zany Zoo - JAI653 Just Choose Two - Pastels - Banner - Baby

Celebrate You - Zany Zoo - JAI653 Just Choose Two - Pastels - Banner - Baby

Hello again and welcome back to my blog! I have another Just Add Ink Design Team post for you today. This week's challenge is the Just Add Ink #JAI653 Choose Two Challenge  . The choices this week are Pastels, Banner and Baby.

I decided to choose Pastels and Banner for my two although I think that you could probably include Baby given the colours and the images in the card. I used the Zany Zoo stamp set and Zoo Crew DSP (image), Bright & Beautiful DSP (banners), Banners Pick a Punch, Circle Punch and Hobnail Glass Dots Basics Embossing Folder. The images and dots on the punched circle were coloured with Stampin' Blends.

Instructions:

- For the card base, use a piece of Bubble Bath A4 card cut in half lengthwise and folded. Layer with a piece of Lemon Lolly and then another piece of Basic White. Cut 4 strips of the Bright & Beautiful DSP and punch one end with the Banners Pick A Punch arranging them haphazardly on the card.

- Fussy cut the Elephant image from the Zoo Crew DSP. Colour with Smoky Slate and Colour Lifter Stampin' Blends. Punch a circle from Basic White card using the 2 3/8" Circle and emboss with the Hobnail Glass Dots Basics Embossing Folder. Colour the embossed dots with Stampin' Blends  (Bubble Bath, Petal Pink, Lemon Lolly, Pool  Party and Soft Seafoam).

-  Stamp the sentiment from the Zany Zoo set onto Basic White card with Tuxedo Black ink, cutting down the sentiment and adhere. Add some Opaque Adhesive Backed Gems to complete.
