Thank You - Simply Said - Use Your Stash September 2026

Thank You - Simply Said - Use Your Stash September 2026

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the 'Use Your Stash" Instagram Hop September 2026. I am joined by an amazing lineup of crafters so make sure you go to my Instagram page HERE to see the rest of the team's creations.

The aim of the hop is to use up some of the huge stash that we all accumulate. Hopefully it will also inspire both ourselves and others to combine some of our old and new products to reduce that stash.

This month's theme is "Hardly Used". For my card, I chose a few things that qualify as my 'hardly used' products, including the retired So Much to Celebrate Kit, Delightful Doily Hybrid Embossing Folder, Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder and Vellum. I also used the retired Simply Said stamp set (a favourite set) , Muted Palette Dots and 2 3/8" Circle Punch.

Instructions:

- Use Basic White card for the base and layer with trimmed card from the So Much to Celebrate Kit which has been embossed with the Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder.

- I used a found scrap from my desk which was an already die cut doily from Basic White using the Delightful Doily Hybrid Embossing Folder. Layer this piece onto the card.

- Use a 2 3/8" Circle Punch to punch out circles from Pumpkin Pie card and Vellum (to tone down the vibrancy of the Pumpkin Pie card). Adhere the circles together and layer them onto the card.

- Fussy cut pieces from the So Much To Celebrate Kit and adhere to the punched circles. Stamp the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set onto Basic White using Tuxedo Black ink and adhere. Finally add some Muted Palette Dots to to complete the card.
