Happy Birthday - Butterfly Brilliance

Happy Birthday - Butterfly Brilliance

Hello and welcome back! I have a card I made for The Crafty Carrot Collective 5th Birthday Bash Mystery Stamping Challenge. The stamping challenge required the colour Orange, Vellum, a Birthday sentiment and Ribbon/Twine

I decided to use some of the some of the products from the Annual Catalogue including the Brilliant Wings Dies, Expressions in Ink DSP and Shaded Summer stamp set. I also added in the Vellum Layering Designs from the Jan-June 2022 Mini Catalogue and the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder

For my card, I used the Pale Papaya from the Expressions in Ink DSP for my 'Orange', the Vellum Layering Designs for my Vellum, the birthday sentiment from the Shaded Summer set and the Gold Simply Elegant Trim for my 'twine'.

Instructions:

- Use Basic White A4 card cut lengthwise and folded for the card base. Layer with a piece of Expressions in Ink DSP and then a piece of Vellum Layering Designs.

- Die cut a piece of the Expressions in Ink DSP with the Brilliant Wings Dies and then a solid butterfly from Basic White card. Emboss the solid butterfly shape with the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder. Adhere the butterflies together and then adhere over some twisted Gold Simply Elegant Trim onto the card.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Shaded Summer stamp set using Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White card. Adhere onto some strips of Expressions in Ink DSP and Polished Pink card and attach to the card. Embellsh with some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Love You Friend - Shaded Summer - TGIFC337 Sketch Challenge

Love You Friend - Shaded Summer - TGIFC337 Sketch Challenge

Hello again! Today's card is one I have entered into the TGIF Challenges #TGIFC337 Sketch Challenge this week.

I just want to thank TGIF challenges as they chose me as their winner of their #TGIFC336 Colour Challenge last week. I am very grateful!

For my card I used the Shaded Summer Stamp Set with the coordinating Summer Shadows Dies (recent Sale-a-bration item now retired), Penned Flowers Dies and ribbon. I blended Polished Pink ink onto Petal Pink card to create an ombré effect (the colour combination was inspired by Cindy Schuster).

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Basic White card, cut in half lengthwise and folded. Mat with a piece of Basic White card which has been embossed with the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder and splattered with Petal Pink ink. Attach using Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Use a piece of Petal Pink card and apply Polished Pink with a Blending Brush. Heat emboss the florals from the Shaded Summer onto this piece using Versamark Ink and White Stampin' Emboss Powder.  Cut the card into three 1" strips and attach to the card with Foam Adhesive. Also use Versamark and White Stampin' Emboss Powder on Basic Black card to stamp a sentiment from the Shaded Summer stamp set.

- Die cut some florals using the Summer Shadow Dies from Basic White. Use a Sponge Dauber to add Polished Pink and Petal Pink inks to the edges of the florals. Die cut a piece of Polished Pink card using the border die from the Penned Flowers Dies. Also use a small die cut flower from the Pierced Blooms Dies (leftover from a previous project). Attach the flowers to the card using Liquid Glue and attach the sentiment using Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Use Dark Polished Pink and Dark Petal Pink Stampin' Blends and colour some Rhinestone Basic Jewels and then attach to the die cut flowers. Tie bows using Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon and Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon (cut in half and tied in a bow). Attach the bows to the card using Mini Glue Dots.

Thank You - Summer Shadows Dies - #TGIFC328

Thank You - Summer Shadows Dies - #TGIFC328

Hello again! Today's card is one I have entered into the TGIF Challenge Blog - #TGIFC328 - Colour Challenge . This weeks challenge is was to use Basic Black, Coastal Cabana and White.

I love colour challenges due to the flexibility and it often gives me the opportunity to play with colours I would not normally use. I used the Summer Shadows Dies which is an exclusive die set coordinating with the Shaded Summer stamp set from the Annual Catalogue. I also used a sentiment from the Nature's Harvest stamp set, the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder as well as some ink blending.

Don't forget that the Summer Shadows Dies are part of the Sale-a-bration catalogue running till the end of September. You can get this set for free for purchases over $180 in the Stampin' Up!® Australian store.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Basic Black A4 cut in half lengthwise and folded. Mat with a piece of Coastal Cabana and then with a piece of Basic White card which has been embossed with the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder

- Die cut multiple flowers and leaves from the Summer Shadows Dies using Basic White card. Using Blending Brushes, apply Coastal Cabana ink to some of the die cuts in an ombré fashion where some pieces are darker and others lighter. Attach the flowers to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals and the leaves with Liquid Glue.

- Using the Nature's Harvest stamp set, stamp the sentiment with Versamark ink onto a small piece of Basic Black card. Heat emboss with White Embossing Powder. Attach this piece to a piece of Coastal Cabana card with Liquid Glue. Attach the sentiment to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Add some Opal Rounds and Matte Black Dots to the front of the card.

Don't forget to subscribe to my newsletter as I will have dimensions for this card.
