Thank you for everything - Flowers of Friendship & Stampin' Blends Background - Monthly International Blog Highlights - June 2021

Hello and welcome to my blog today.

I am excited to be participating in Kylie Bertucci’s Monthly International Blog Highlights with Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators from around the world!

The theme this and every month is 'Thank You'. Below there is a button where you can visit the gallery and vote for your five favourite cards (I am hoping mine will be one of your favourites 😊!).

I used the Flowers of Friendship Bundle and combined it with a background I created using Stampin' Blends, and the Artistic dies for the vellum die cut.

Instructions:

Use a piece of Magenta Madness card stock for the card base. Mat a piece of Basic White card onto the card base and attach using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Cut a piece of Vellum and another piece of Basic White the same size as the Vellum and keep the card stock aside.

Use the piece of Stampin' Up! Vellum and add some colour from a Stampin' Blends marker (Magenta Madness and Highland Heather). Add some high strength Isopropyl Alcohol (I used the Australian brand Diggers 99% Isopropyl Alcohol), either via dropping the alcohol onto the coloured area or using the sprayer. Move the colour around using a straw or air blower. Keep adding colour until you are satisfied with your blending. Attach the Vellum to the Basic White card using sponged Liquid Glue spread over the back of the Vellum.

Stamp the small and large flowers from the Flowers of Friendship stamp set onto Stampin' Up! Vellum with Versamark Ink and heat emboss with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder (Metallics Embossing Powder). Use the Flowers & Leaves punch and punch out the flowers from the Vellum. Use the Artistic Dies (from the Expressions in Ink Suite) and die cut a large leaf from Vellum.

Attach the Vellum leaf  to the card with dots of Liquid Glue. Attach the flowers to each other with Mini Glue Dots, and then attach to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Stamp the sentiment from the Flowers of Friendship stamp set onto a small strip of Basic White using Tuxedo Black ink, mat with a piece of Basic Black card, then adhere this onto the card using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. Add some Gilded Gems onto the flowers.

Measurements:

- Magenta Madness card base A4/Letter cut in half lengthwise and folded

- Basic White layer: A4 5 1/2" x 3 3/4"/ 14.2 x 9.8 cm or Letter 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"

- Vellum/Basic White layer: A4 5 1/4" x 3 1/2"/ 13.7 x 9.3 cm or Letter 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"
