Thank You For Everything - Flowers of Friendship - Casually Crafting Design Team May 2021 Blog Hop

Hello and welcome back. Today I have a card for the Casually Crafting Design Team May 2021 Blog Hop.

So who are we?

The Casually Crafting Design Team are a group of Independent Stampin' Up!® demonstrators from around the world that want to share our love of crafting with you all. We all love simple and easy cards, so you will see cards that are ideally suited for beginners and casual crafters. Sometimes we will also be showing stepped up versions for the more avid crafter.

We will sharing what we love every 3rd Saturday of the month. Make sure to check out the rest of the Design Team's creative projects using the links below.

For this month, I decided to share a card using the ' Flowers of Friendship' ' from the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue from Stampin' Up!®.

I used techniques such as stamping, fussy cutting and colouring with Stampin' Blends.

The brief this month was to highlight the new 2021-2023 In Colours which are Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Polished Pink, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen. I love these new In Colours, they are so soft and pretty!

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Fresh Freesia card A4/Letter cut in half lengthwise and folded

- Use a smaller piece of Basic White, and adhere a Pale Papaya Ombré Gift Bag that you have cut down to size using Liquid Glue. Splatter some Pale Papaya and Polished Pink ink onto the Ombré background.

- Use a piece of the Paper Lattice and adhere at an angle onto the Ombré layer using Liquid Glue.

- Stamp the floral image from the Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set onto Basic White card. Fussy cut the images out. Colour with Stampin' Blends - Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Polished Pink and Soft Succulent. Add some accents with a Polished Pink Stampin' Write Marker.

- Attach the first flower onto the Paper Lattice using Mini Glue Dots, and then the second flower over the top using Mini Glue Dots and Stampin' Mini Dimensionals.

- Tie a bow using a piece of the Silver Simply Elegant Twine and a piece of the Bakers Twine Essentials Pack and attach to the stamped flowers using a Mini Glue Dot.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Flowers of Friendship set using Tuxedo Black ink onto a small strip of Basic White card than mat onto a piece of Polished Pink Ombré Gift Bag. Attach the sentiment onto the Paper Lattice using Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Use some Fresh Freesia 2021-2023 In Colour Jewels and add them onto the card.

Measurements:

- Fresh Freesia base A4/Letter cut in half lengthwise and folded

- Basic White/Ombre Gift Bag: A4 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"/ 14.4 x 10 cm or Letter 4" x 5 1/4"
