Happy Birthday - Beautiful Butterflies - Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop February 2025

Happy Birthday - Beautiful Butterflies - Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop February 2025

Hello and welcome back to my blog. You are visiting Ann Alexander from Australia. Today I have a card for the February 2025 "Ink and Inspiration Blog Hop".This month we have a Colour Inspiration Challenge. The inspiration image colours are Melon Mambo, Calypso Coral, Cajun Craze, Summer Splash, Coastal Cabana and Azure Afternoon. I chose to use all the colours for this month's challenge

I used the Beautiful Butterflies Bundle (stamp, dies & embossing folder), Stampin' Blends, Blending Brushes and finished it off with some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Melon Mambo card for the card base and layer with a piece of Cajun Craze card and then Basic White card embossed with the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Embossing Folder.

- Use Stampin' Blends (Melon Mambo & Calypso Coral) and Isopropyl Alcohol to add some colour to Basic White card strips and layer onto the card front.

- Use the Beautiful Butterflies dies to die cut butterflies from Basic White card. Use Ink Blending and Stampin' Blends in the challenge colours to add colour to them. Add some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the bodies and adhere to the card.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Beautiful Butterflies set using Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White card and layer it onto a strip of Cajun Craze card and adhere. Finally add some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to complete.

I hope the card you've seen here on my blog today has inspired you to create something today.

Best Friend Ever - Country Flowers - Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop - October 2024

Best Friend Ever - Country Flowers - Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop - October 2024

Hello and welcome back to my blog. You are visiting Ann Alexander from Australia. Today I have a card for the October 2024 "Ink and Inspiration Blog Hop".This month we have a Colour Inspiration Challenge. The inspiration image colours are Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Shaded Spruce, Balmy Blue & Early Espresso. I chose the colours rather than the image for my card.

I used the Country Flowers Bundle, Cross Hatch Basics 3D Embossing Folder, a card from the Reindeer Days Memories & More Pack, Stampin' Blends and finished it off with some Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Basic White card for the card base and layer with a piece of Pumpkin Pie and then Real Red card embossed with the Cross Hatch Basics 3D Embossing Folder. Use a piece of Basic White card and mat a card from the Reindeer Days Memories & More Pack onto it and adhere.

- Stamp the image and sentiment from the Country Flowers set using Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White card and die cut the image using the coordinating dies. Colour the image and Stampin' Blends (in the challenge colours, using one of the Deep Combo pack blends in place of Early Espresso) and adhere.

- Use the Country Flowers Dies to die cut some leaves from Basic White card and colour them with Shaded Spruce Stampin' Blends. Adhere all the pieces including the sentiment to the card front. Add some Pumpkin Pie Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins to complete.

I hope the card you've seen here on my blog today has inspired you to create something today.

Congratulations - Lovely & Sweet - Ink and Inspiration Blog Hop - December 2023

Hello and welcome back to my blog. You are visiting Ann Alexander from Australia. Today I have a card for the December 2023 "Ink and Inspiration Blog Hop".

This month we have a Sketch Challenge. I used the Lovely & Sweet Stamp Set and Nature's Sweetness Specialty DSP from the upcoming Jan-April 2024 Mini Catalogue available next week, letting the DSP do all the work for the sketch and finished it off with some Adhesive-Backed Cork Rounds (retired).

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Basic White card for the card base and layer with a piece of Pebbled Path card.  Use a piece of Nature's Sweetness Specialty DSP with single images and use a cutting knife to cut around some of the leaves to allow another strip of the Specialty DSP to be adhered under the leaves.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Lovely & Sweet set using Pebbled Path ink onto Basic White card and adhere. Add some Adhesive-Backed Cork Rounds to complete.
