Happy Birthday - Darling Dinos - GDP527 Theme Challenge

Happy Birthday - Darling Dinos - GDP527 Theme Challenge

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Project's Theme Challenge where our theme this week is "Reasons To Party". Visit the Global Design Project Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the rest of the team's entries.

To create my card, I used a mix of products and decided on a birthday theme. I used the Darling Dinos stamp set, Stripes & Florals Mix & Match Cards & Envelopes, Birthday Treats Mix & Match Ephemera Pack and Stampin' Blends.

Instructions:

- Use a card from the Stripes & Florals Mix & Match Cards & Envelopes as the card base. Layer with a coordinating die cut piece from the Birthday Treats Mix & Match Ephemera Pack.

- Stamp images and a sentiment from the Darling Dino's stamp set using Tuxedo Black onto Basic White card and fussy/die cut the images. Select some other images from the Birthday Treats Mix & Match Ephemera Pack. Colour all the images with various coordinating Stampin' Blends.

- Adhere all the pieces to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. Layer the sentiment onto a strip from the Ephemera Pack and adhere. Finally add some Bubble Bath Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots.

Be sure to check out the rest of the Global Design Team's challenge inspiration from the blog links below as well as their Instagram and Facebook pages.

Hello and welcome back to my blog! My card for today is for this week's CAS on Friday Challenge #314 where we have an "Animal" Challenge.

Make sure to visit the blog HERE to see the rest of the team's projects.

Instructions:

- Use Basic Beige for the card base. Layer with a piece of Basic White card that has a sentiment from the Darling Dinos set stamped onto it with Tuxedo Black ink.

- Stamp images from the Darling Dinos stamp set with Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White and fussy/die cut out. Colour with Stampin' Blends (Crumb Cake, Grey Granite, Smoky Slate, Basic Black, Old Olive, Lemon Lime Twist and Bronze).

- Use a 2 3/8" Circle Punch to punch a circle from a piece of the Full of Life DSP. Adhere to the card front and then layer all the stamped images on to the circle. Finally add some Neutral Matte Dots to complete the card.

Hope Your Birthday is Dino-mite - Darling Dinos- JAI743 Sketch Challenge

Hope Your Birthday is Dino-mite - Darling Dinos- JAI743 Sketch Challenge

Hello and welcome back to my blog! I have another Just Add Ink Design Team post for you today. This week's challenge is the Just Add Ink #JAI743 Sketch Challenge .

I used the new Darling Dino stamp set, Hobnail Glass Basics Embossing Folder (retired), Stampin' Blends, Blending Brushes & Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Instructions:

- Use a Basic White card as the base, then layer with a piece of Basic Beige and then Basic White embossed with the Hobnail Glass Basics Embossing Folder.

- Use a narrower piece of Basic White and using Blending Brushes to apply Granny Apple Green & Azure Afternoon ink to create grass and sky. Stamp grass from the Darling Dinos set onto this piece using Granny Apple Green ink.

- Stamp the dinosaurs and accessories from the Darling Dinos stamp set onto Basic White card using Tuxedo Black ink. Fussy cut or die cut ( I had to fussy cut as I forgot to buy the dies). Use Stampin' Blends (Soft Seafoam, Old Olive, Lemon Lime Twist, Pecan Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Wild Wheat, Smokey Slate, Fresh Freesia, Lemon Lolly, Pretty in Pink, Real Red, Petunia Pop and Peach Pie) to colour the pieces and adhere them to the card.

- Stamp a sentiment from the stamp set onto Basic Beige with Tuxedo Black ink and adhere. Finally add some Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card to complete.
