I miss you - Blackberry Beauty - Casually Crafting Design Team Blog Hop - October 2021

I miss you - Blackberry Beauty - Casually Crafting Design Team Blog Hop - October 2021

Hello and welcome back. Today I have a card for the Casually Crafting Design Team October 2021 Blog Hop. This month we have a Sketch Challenge. Now I will admit I was a little stumped initially when I saw this sketch but when I looked at the Blackberry Beauty Designer Series Papers, I realised it would fit perfectly with this sketch. It also gave me the opportunity to use the owl in the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack which I had been saving for the perfect project.

So who are we?

The Casually Crafting Design Team are a group of Independent Stampin' Up!® demonstrators from around the world that want to share our love of crafting with you all. We all love simple and easy cards, so you will see cards that are ideally suited for beginners and casual crafters. Sometimes we will also be showing stepped up versions for the more avid crafter.

We will sharing what we love every 3rd Saturday of the month. Make sure to check out the rest of the Design Team's creative projects using the links below.

For this month, I decided to share a card using the Blackberry Beauty Designer Series Papers and Ephemera Pack, combined with the Gold Paper (from the Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper pack), Simply Elegant Trim and a sentiment from the Art Gallery stamp set .

- Cut a strip of Gold Metallic Specialty paper and mat with a strip of Blackberry Beauty DSP. Attach the strips to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. Attach the owl from the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack with Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Art Gallery stamp set using Versamark Ink onto a piece of Basic White. Heat emboss with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder. Attach to a strip of Gold Metallic Specialty Paper and then to a label from the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack. Add some Gold Simply Elegant Trim to the card and attach the sentiment over the top with Stampin' Dimensionals.  Add some Genial Gems to finish the card.

Blackberry Beauty Suite

Blackberry Beauty Suite

Hello again! I have a couple of quick cards for you today. Stampin' Through the Catalog is featuring the Beauty of Tomorrow stamp set this week. I decided to make a couple of cards using the Blackberry Beauty Suite (I have already used this set with THIS card and THIS card). This suite is so rich and deep and perfect for the Northern Hemisphere winters but in the Southern Hemisphere, it is spring, so I used the colours and images to represent the blooming flowers of the season.

For this first card I used a Cinnamon Cider card base, stamped with images from Beauty of Tomorrow stamp set with Cinnamon Cider ink. I then used a piece of Basic White card  and some of the pieces from the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack and adhered them with Stampin' Dimensionals. I stamped a couple of sentiments from the Beauty of Tomorrow stamp set and cut them up to fit the card. Finally some Gilded Gems were added to the card.

Using the Ephemera Pack is such an easy way to make a quick card. By using the die cut pieces, it is easy to create a variety of cards. You can then step up the card by stamping on the card base.

For the second card, I used a Sahara Sand base, layered with Rich Razzleberry and the Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper. I stamped the leaf image with Sahara Sand ink (it was a scrap from another project), and used a piece from the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack, with a strip of the Blackberry Beauty DSP (also an offcut), a heat embossed sentiment, Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Sequins and some Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon (retired).

I'm here for you - Beauty of Tomorrow & Brilliant Wings Dies - #FMS505

I'm here for you - Beauty of Tomorrow & Brilliant Wings Dies - #FMS505

Hello again! Today's card is one I have entered into the Freshly Made Sketches #FMS505 Sketch Challenge this week.

For this card I used the Beauty of Tomorrow stamp set, Brilliant Wings Dies, Layering Circles Dies, Timeworn Type Embossing Folder, Blackberry Beauty Designer Series Papers (with those gold foil accents - swoon) and the Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Rich Razzleberry A4 card, cut in half lengthwise and folded. Mat with a piece of Basic White which has been embossed with the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder. Attach this to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Use the Layering Circles Dies to die cut two different sized circles from the Blackberry Beauty DSP. Use the Brilliant Wings Dies to die cut butterflies from the Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper. Attach these to the card using Mini Glue Dots for the Butterflies and Stampin' Dimensionals/ Liquid Glue for the Circles.

- Stamp a sentiment from the Beauty of Tomorrow stamp set onto a strip of Basic White card and attach to a scrap of the Blackberry Beauty DSP (distress the edges slightly). Adhere with Liquid Glue. Colour some Rhinestone Basic Jewels with a Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blend and then adhere to the card.

Look at the gorgeous gold foil on the Beauty of Tomorrow Designer Series Paper ... so pretty!

Thank you - Blackberry Beauty - Monthly International Blog Highlights - September 2021

Hello and welcome to my blog today.

I am excited to be participating in Kylie Bertucci’s Monthly International Blog Highlights with Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators from around the world!

The theme this and every month is 'Thank You'. Below there is a button where you can visit the gallery and vote for your five favourite cards (I am hoping mine will be one of your favourites 😊!).

I used products from the Blackberry Beauty Suite, and the sentiment was from the Nature's Harvest stamp set, both of which are from the Aug-Dec 2021 Mini Catalogue

Instructions:

Use a piece of Smoky Slate card for the card base. Using one of the floral images from the Beauty of Tomorrow stamp set, stamp with Rich Razzleberry ink onto a piece of Rich Razzleberry card. Attach this piece to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Use floral and leaf pieces from the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack and attach to the card base with Liquid Glue and Stampin' Dimensionals.

Stamp the sentiment from the Nature's Harvest stamp set onto Basic White card with Smoky Slate Ink. Mat this sentiment piece onto a strip of Cork Specialty Paper and a strip of Smoky Slate card using Liquid Glue.

Use a length of Gold Simply Elegant Trim and wind in a coil shape and adhere under the sentiment. Attach the sentiment to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. Add some Gilded Gems to finish the card.

Measurements:

- Smoky card base: A4/Letter cut in half lengthwise and folded

- Rich Razzleberry layer: A4 5 1/4" x 3 1/2"/ 13.7 x 9.3 cm or Letter 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"

I hope you liked my card today. I would love it if you were able to vote for me. The Top 10 will participate in a blog hop towards the end of September.
