Hello again! I have a couple of quick cards for you today. Stampin' Through the Catalog is featuring the Beauty of Tomorrow stamp set this week. I decided to make a couple of cards using the Blackberry Beauty Suite (I have already used this set with THIS card and THIS card). This suite is so rich and deep and perfect for the Northern Hemisphere winters but in the Southern Hemisphere, it is spring, so I used the colours and images to represent the blooming flowers of the season.
For this first card I used a Cinnamon Cider card base, stamped with images from Beauty of Tomorrow stamp set with Cinnamon Cider ink. I then used a piece of Basic White card and some of the pieces from the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack and adhered them with Stampin' Dimensionals. I stamped a couple of sentiments from the Beauty of Tomorrow stamp set and cut them up to fit the card. Finally some Gilded Gems were added to the card.
Using the Ephemera Pack is such an easy way to make a quick card. By using the die cut pieces, it is easy to create a variety of cards. You can then step up the card by stamping on the card base.
For the second card, I used a Sahara Sand base, layered with Rich Razzleberry and the Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper. I stamped the leaf image with Sahara Sand ink (it was a scrap from another project), and used a piece from the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack, with a strip of the Blackberry Beauty DSP (also an offcut), a heat embossed sentiment, Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Sequins and some Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon (retired).
