Hugs - Layering Leaves - GDP 403 Theme Challenge

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for Global Design Project's GDP403 Theme Challenge . This week for our theme challenge we are using 'Stripes'.

I used the Layering Leaves stamp set, Delightfully Eclectic DSP, Bough Punch, Stripes & Splatters Embossing Folder and Classic Matte Dots.

Instructions:

- Use Basic Black card for the base and layer with a piece of Basic White card. Layer with a piece of the striped Delightfully Eclectic DSP and Vellum. Use a piece of Fresh Freesia embossed with the Stripes & Splatters Embossing Folder and apply some White Ink with a Sponge Dauber to emphasise the stripes.

- Fussy cut flowers from the Delightfully Eclectic DSP and apply Bubble Bath ink with a Blending Brush to the edges of the flowers and adhere. Punch leaves from Basic White card using the Bough Punch and apply Old Olive ink with a Blending Brush to the pieces and adhere with the flowers.

- Stamp a sentiment from the Layering Leaves stamp set with Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White and cut down to use the word 'Hugs'. Finally add Classic Matte Dots to the card to complete.
