Rise & Shine - Hey Chuck - CAS on Friday

Hello and welcome back to my blog! My card for today is for this week's CAS on Friday Challenge #262 theme which is "Summer".

I don't have specific summer sets, but I thought of a summer morning when I looked at the Hey Chuck Bundle. I also used the sun shaped die cut from the Hey Chuck Dies to create a stencil and ink blended the sun. I used Stampin' Blends to colour the chicken and create grass.

Make sure to visit the blog HERE to see the rest of the team's projects.

Instructions:

- Use a Basic White card base. Die cut the sun using the Hey Chuck dies using a scrap piece of card then flip around and die cut it again to create a full sun image stencil. Use a Blending Brush and apply Lemon Lolly, Flirty Flamingo and Calypso Coral ink through the stencil to a piece of Basic White card.

- Splatter the blended Basic White card with Lemon Lolly ink and use a Blending Brush to add the colour to the edges of this piece. Stamp the sentiment from the Hey Chuck set using Tuxedo Black onto the card and then attach the piece to the card base.

- Stamp the image from the Hey Chuck set using Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White and die cut with the coordinating Hey Chuck dies. Colour with Stampin' Blends ( Sweet Sorbet, Lemon Lolly, Daffodil Delight, Copper Clay, Pumpkin Pie,Boho Blue and Lost Lagoon).
