You're too Kind - Quiet Meadow - Casual Crafting Design Team Blog Hop June 2021

Hello and welcome back. Today I have a card for the Casually Crafting Design Team June 2021 Blog Hop - Tic Tac Toe Challenge.

So who are we?

The Casually Crafting Design Team are a group of Independent Stampin' Up!® demonstrators from around the world that want to share our love of crafting with you all. We all love simple and easy cards, so you will see cards that are ideally suited for beginners and casual crafters. Sometimes we will also be showing stepped up versions for the more avid crafter.

We will sharing what we love every 3rd Saturday of the month. Make sure to check out the rest of the Design Team's creative projects using the links below.

For this month, I decided to share a card using the 'Quiet Meadow' stamp set from the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue from Stampin' Up!® and combined it with the Tic Tac Toe Challenge.

I used techniques such as stamping, fussy cutting and colouring with Stampin' Blends.

The brief this month was to used the Tic Tac Toe squares above and pick three of them in any direction. I decided to do the bottom row and I picked the three colours Granny Apple Green, Crushed Curry and Bermuda Bay.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Basic White card A4/Letter cut in half lengthwise and folded

- Use a smaller piece of Vellum, and adhere to the card base by placing Stampin' Seal on the middle part of the Vellum layer which will be covered by the next layer.

- Cut 1/2" (1.3cm) x 3" (7.5cm) strips of Granny Apple Green, Crushed Curry and Bermuda Bay card. Additionally cut a few strips of Gold Foil 3/8" (1cm) x 3" (7.5cm). Adhere them using Stampin' Dimensionals to a piece of Basic White card allowing approximately 1/8" (3mm) between the strips. Adhere the Basic White card to the Vellum Layer using Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Stamp the floral image from the Quiet Meadow Stamp Set onto Vellum using Versamark Ink. Heat emboss with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. Fussy cut the images out. Colour two of the flowers with Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blends (on the back of the image). Use the Sprig Punch to cut some some leaves out of Vellum. Colour some of these pieces with Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends.

- Attach the the Sprigs of Vellum to the card using Liquid Glue, and then attach the flowers over the top using Stampin' Mini Dimensionals.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Quiet Meadow set onto Basic White card using Tuxedo Black ink. Mat this strip with Basic Black card using Liquid Glue. Attach the sentiment to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Add some Gilded Gems to the card.
