A Little Hello From Me To You - Hand-Penned Suite - #TGIFC312 Technique Challenge

Hello and welcome to back to my blog. I created this card for the #TGIFC312 Technique Challenge this week. The challenge this week was to create a 'Very Vintage" card.

I used the Hand- Penned Petals stamp set which is new stamp set from the Stampin' Up!® 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue, one of the Simply Elegant Specialty Designer Series Papers and the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks. I combined it with the new In Colours 2021-2023.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Very Vanilla card A4 cut in half lengthwise and folded.

- Layer a piece of Simply Elegant Specialty Designer Series Paper, using a sponge dauber to apply Early Espresso Ink to the edges.

- Cut a smaller piece of Very Vanilla, use one of the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks and blend Evening Evergreen through it using a Blending Brush. Blend lightly and leave some areas lighter than others. Splatter with Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen and Early Espresso using either Stampin' Write Markers or ink. Edge the card with Early Espresso ink using the sponge dauber.

- Stamp the Hand-Penned Petals stamp onto a piece of Very Vanilla and use the Penned Flowers Dies to cut it out. Colour the flower with Polished Pink and Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends. Cut some extra leaves from Soft Succulent cardstock. Apply some Early Espresso to the edges of the leaves and flower using the sponge dauber

- Adhere the leaves and flowers to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals and Liquid Glue. Tie a double bow using Linen Thread around the stem of the flower.

- Stamp a sentiment from the Pansy Patch stamp set onto a strip of Very Vanilla card with Early Espresso ink. Edge the strip of card with Early Espresso ink using the sponge dauber. Attach the sentiment to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
