Thanks a bunch - Celebrate Sunflowers and Hydrangea Hill - Kylie's Demonstrator Support Program Blog Hop March 2021

My card for today is for Kylie Bertucci's Demonstrator Support Program Blog Hop March 2021. I am so happy that you could join my fellow demonstrators and I today for this blog hop, which I hope will provide you with many ideas and creative inspiration.

We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin' Up!® business and reach some goals we have set. We really appreciate your support!

You may be starting here or may have come from another blog - either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today.

I decided to combine a little old(er) and a little new today with this card, using the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set (from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue) and the Hydrangea Hill papers (from the January - June 2021 Mini Catalogue). Please click the links in my sidebar if you would like to download a digital copy of these catalogues.

Remember if you place an order with me during March 2021, you will receive one of these cards as a thank you for your purchase.

Use a piece of Basic White for the card base . Mat with a piece of Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper (adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue). Create another layer using the Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Designer Acetate. Adhere the acetate to the DSP with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals using care to add them only under coloured areas to avoid being seen at the front.

Stamp the Sunflower images from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set using Tuxedo Black Ink onto Basic White and the sentiment using Gorgeous Grape. Use the Sunflowers dies to die cut the Sunflowers image. Die cut some leaves/stalks from Gorgeous Grape card.

Colour the Sunflower image using Stampin' Blends (Purple Posy, Highland Heather for the leaves and Seaside Spray for the centre) and then attach the image to the acetate using Stampin' Dimensionals. Attach the leaves to the card using Mini Glue Dots. Wrap some Linen Thread around the acetate and tie off.

Fussy cut the sentiment and attach to Gorgeous Grape card and fussy cut that as well. Attach to the card using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

Attach some Pastel Pearls to the acetate to add some interest.

Attach a strip of the Hydrangea Hill DSP on the inside of the card with Liquid Glue. Attach some leftover Gorgeous Grape leaf/stalk pieces to the inside with glue.

Measurements:

- Basic White card base A4/Letter cut in half lengthwise and folded

- Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper: A4 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"/ 14.4 cm x 10 cm or Letter 4" x 5 1/4"

-
Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Designer Acetate layer: A4 5" x 3 1/4"/ 13.1 cm x 8.7 cm or Letter 3 3/8" x 4 5/8"
