For You - Delicate Petals

Welcome back to my blog. I made this card using the Delicate Petals Bundle (Delicate Petals Stamp Set and Lacy Petals Dies) from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue as well as the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper (a Sale-A-bration item combined with the Berry Blessings Stamp Set if you spend more than AUD$180 in the Stampin' Up!® Australia store).

I fell in love with the colour Blackberry Bliss after using it quite a bit with the Dandy Garden Suite. It is such a rich, deep colour and certainly not something I would have previously considered on my cards, but I find myself reaching for it often now. I have coordinated the Blackberry Bliss with Rich Razzleberry (another striking colour)  as well as Basic White and Basic Black.

- Use a Blackberry Bliss card base - A4 cut in half lengthwise and folded in half.

- Cut a smaller piece of Basic White card and attach to the base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Cut a piece of Basic Black which is slightly smaller and attach to the Basic White with Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Create another layer using a piece from the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper and attach to the Basic Black card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

- Use the Lacy Petals dies from the Delicate Petals Bundle and cut flower shapes from pieces of Basic White, Rich Razzleberry and Blackberry Bliss card.

- Layer the flowers in different combinations and position them on the card. Keep a few die cut flowers for the inside of the card. Attach the small flowers to the larger ones using Mini Glue Dots.

- Use a small piece of Blackberry Bliss 3/8" Striped Ribbon for each flower, thread it through the centres of the flowers and tie a knot to create the flower centres. Attach the flowers to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Stamp a sentiment from Delicate Petals Stamp Set onto Basic White card using Blackberry Bliss ink. Mat this onto a small piece of Rich Razzleberry Card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then adhere the sentiment onto the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Adhere a piece of Basic White card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the inside of the card. Layer some of the remaining die cut flowers to the inside of the card and also attach with glue.
