My Love For You - Whale Done - #TGIFC325

Hello again! Today's card is one I have entered into the TGIF Challenge Blog - #TGIFC325 - Inspiration Challenge . This weeks challenge was based around Vacation Vibes. I will be honest this challenge took a while to create as I have no specific holiday/vacation stamps from Stampin' Up!®. What inspired me though was the beaches I would love to be seeing right now given that we are in lockdown here in Sydney (Australia) and homeschooling. Australia has some of the best beaches I have ever seen and the jellyfish are very well known, which help provide inspiration for this card.

I used a whole lot of ink blending, the stamp set Whale Done and the Bark 3D Embossing Folder to simulate the waves.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Pacific Point card A4 cut in half lengthwise and folded. Use a smaller piece of Basic White card, run through with the Bark Embossing Folder and attach to the card with Liquid Glue.

- Use a piece of Shimmery White card and use Blending Brushes to apply Bermuda Bay, Pacific Point and Night of Navy inks. Add some droplets of water using Stampin' Spritzers to given a mottled/bubbly appearance to the blue blended areas to give the illusion of water. Add some stamped bubbles using Bermuda Bay ink to the blended card.

- Using Polished Pink ink, stamp the Jellyfish multiple times onto the blended card. Stamp a sentiment from the Whale Done set also using Polished Pink ink onto a piece of Basic White card. Attach the sentiment using Stampin' Dimensionals and attach a scrap strip of the blended card below the sentiment with Liquid Glue.

- Add some sequins from the Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack.
