Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for Global Design Project's GDP436 Case the Designer Challenge. For this week's challenge we are CASEing Jay Soriano. I was inspired by Jay's use of colour and general layout for my card.

For my card I used the Sweet Thoughts Memories & More Card Pack and Cards & Envelopes. I used the Timeless Arrangements stamp set for the sentiment, the Cross Hatch Basics Embossing Folder and Rainbow Adhesive Backed Dots.

Instructions:

- Use one of the card bases from the Sweet Thoughts Memories & More Cards & Envelopes and cut down to a standard sized card. Mat the card base with Basic White card. Then mat with a piece of Calypso Coral and Basic White that have both been embossed with the Cross Hatch Basics Embossing Folder.

- Use a strip of Calypso Coral card and a strip of the Sweet Thoughts Memories & More Card Pack cards in the centre of the card. Use another card with butterflies on it and fussy cut them out with Paper Snips and adhere along the centre of the card. 

- Stamp the sentiment from the Timeless Arrangements stamp set onto Basic White using Tuxedo Black ink and complete the card using some Rainbow Adhesive Backed Dots.

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for Global Design Project's GDP434 Sketch Challenge. This week we have a fun sketch challenge for you.

For my card I used the Watercolour Melon stamp (a free Sale-a-bration items for purchases over AUD$90 ), Timeless Arrangements stamp set, Raindrops Embossing Folder, Bee Mine DSP, Stampin' Blends and Adhesive Backed Sequins Trio.

Instructions:

- Use Basic White card for the card base and then layer with a piece of the Bee Mine DSP, and then Basic White card embossed with the Raindrops Embossing Folder to mimic watermelon pips.

- Cut 2 squares of Basic White card and use Stampin' Blends and Isopropyl Alcohol to create a watercolored effect on the background. 

- Stamp the images from the Watercolour Melon stamp set using various inks - Shaded Spruce (second generation) & Sweet Sorbet for the watermelon and Granny Apple Green & Lemon Lime Twist for the leaves. Fussy cut all the images and adhere.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Timeless Arrangements stamp set onto Basic White using Tuxedo Black ink and complete the card using some Adhesive Backed Sequins Trio.

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for Global Design Project's GDP397 Colour Challenge . This week our colours are Berry Burst, Azure Afternoon & Blueberry Bushel and are part of the Colour Refresh from Stampin' Up!®.

I used the Bird's Eye View (images), Timeless Arrangements (sentiment) and Quiet Meadow (splatter) stamp sets. I also used the Bright & Beautiful DSP Countryside Corners Dies, Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder, Stampin' Blends to colour the images and the Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Blueberry Bushell A4 card, cut in half lengthwise and folded. Mat with a piece of Basic White card embossed with the Countryside Blossoms Folder. Layer this piece with a die cut piece of Basic White using the Countryside Corners Dies. Stamp this piece prior to adhering with a splatter stamp from the Quiet Meadow set using Azure Afternoon ink (stamped off a few times to lighten the ink)

- Stamp the images from the Bird's Eye View stamp using Tuxedo Black ink onto both Basic White and the Bright & Beautiful DSP in the challenge colours. Fussy cut all the images. Colour the owl in Azure Afternoon and his glasses in Berry Burst Stampin' Blends picking up colour with a Colour Lifter. Paper piece some of DSP onto the books and colour some of the others with Stampin' Blends. Adhere all the pieces to the card.

- Stamp a sentiment from the Timeless Arrangements stamp set using Azure Afternoon ink onto Basic White card. Add some Rhinestone Basic Jewels coloured with Azure Afternoon Stampin' Blends to complete.

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is one I created for Freshly Made Sketches  FMS587 Sketch Challenge . 

I used the Everlasting Beauty stamp set for the images and the Timeless Arrangements for the sentiment. I coloured all the images in using a variety of Stampin' Blends with Berry Burst used on each flower. I used the 2 3/8" Circle Punch and a 2" Circle punches to cut out the images and the Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to add a little bling.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Basic White A4 card, cut in half lengthwise and folded. Mat with a piece of Bubble Bath card and then a piece of Basic White card with a light application of Bubble Bath ink applied with a Blending Brush.

- Stamp the floral images from the Everlasting Beauty stamp set onto Basic White with Tuxedo Black ink. Use the 2" and 2 3/8" Circle Punches to punch the stamped circles. Colour with Stampin' Blends - Waratah (Lemon Lolly, Calypso Coral, Pumpkin Pie, Flirty Flamingo, Berry Burst, Old Olive, Granny Apple Green and Lemon Lime Twist); Amaranth - (Berry Burst, Blackberry Bliss, Highland Heather and Old Olive); Leucadendron (Highland Heather, Bubble Bath, Fresh freesia, Berry Burst and Old Olive).

- As a wanted a small sentiment I used the Timeless Arrangements stamp set and stamped a sentiment from the set using Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White card. Finally add some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to complete.
