Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the 'Use Your Stash" Instagram Hop April 2026. I am joined by an amazing lineup of crafters so make sure you go to my Instagram page HERE to see the rest of the team's creations. 

The aim of the hop is to use up some of the huge stash that we all accumulate. Hopefully it will also inspire both ourselves and others to combine some of our old and new products to reduce that stash.

This month's theme is "Pretty Pastels". One of my all time favourite Pastel colours is So Saffron which retired a few years back. I decided to use it as my primary Pastel and add some other retired Pastel colours and neutrals to create my card. I used the You Are Remarkable (images) and Thoughtful Wishes (sentiment) stamp sets, combining them with the Happy Forest Friends DSP and Stampin' Blends in retired colours.

Instructions:

- Use Sahara Sand card for the base and layer with Basic White card. Stamp a pattern on a smaller piece of Sahara Sand card using the You Are Remarkable stamp set, Sahara Sand ink and a second generation stamping technique. Layer with two different pieces of the Happy Forest Friends DSP (edges distressed) and a piece of So Saffron card.

- Stamp the image from the You Are Remarkable set and the sentiment from the Thoughtful Wishes stamp sets using Tuxedo Black onto Basic White card. Fussy cut the image and sentiment. Use retired Pastel Stampin' Blends to colour the floral image (So Saffron, Seaside Spray, Purple Posy, Rococo Rose, Mint Macaron and Mango Melody).

- Adhere the image and sentiment onto the card. Finally add some Rhinestone Basic Jewels coloured with So Saffron Stampin' Blends to complete.

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Project's GDP466 Sketch challenge. Visit the Global Design Project Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the entries.

I used the Thoughtful Wishes Bundle and the beautiful Thoughtful Journey DSP to mimic the sketch. I also used a 2" Circle Punch and some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels (retired). 

Instructions:

- Use Petunia Pop for the card base and layer with Misty Moonlight and Basic White. Use the Thoughtful Journey DSP which mimics the sketch. 

- Use a piece of Petunia Pop and die cut using the Thoughtful Wishes Dies and add to the card to additionally mimic the sketch. 

- Use a piece of Basic White card and stamp the sentiment from the Thoughtful Wishes stamp set Petunia Pop ink. Use the same ink and one of the decorative stamps from the set and stamp 2nd and 3rd generation images around the sentiment. 

- Use a 2" Circle Punch to punch the sentiment out and add to the card. Finally add some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to complete.

Hello and welcome back to my blog! My card for today is for this week's CAS on Friday Challenge #287 theme which is a 'Watercolour' Challenge. One of my favourite ways to use watercolouring is to create backgrounds and use them on my cards. 

For my card today, I used the Thoughtful Wishes Bundle, 2 3/8" Circle Punch, Water Painter, 2024-2026 In Colour Inks and 2024-2026 In Colour Glimmer Gems.

Instructions:

- Use Petunia Pop card for the card base and layer with a piece of Basic White card. 

- Use a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper and apply Petunia Pop, Pretty in Pink and Peach Pie ink with a Water Painter using a wet on wet application. When dry, use a 2 3/8" Circle Punch to punch out watercoloured circles and adhere to the front of the card

- Use one of the dies from the Thoughtful Wishes die set, and die cut a piece of Petunia Pop card and layer onto the circles 

- Stamp a sentiment from the Thoughtful Wishes stamp set using Petunia Pop ink onto a strip of Basic White layer. Add some 2024-2026 In Colour Glimmer Gems to the card to complete.
