Thank You - Boughs & Blossoms - Just Add Ink JAI586 - Summer Blog Hop

Thank You - Boughs & Blossoms - Just Add Ink JAI586 - Summer Blog Hop

Hello again, Happy New Year and welcome back to my blog! I have another Just Add Ink Design Team post for you today. You hopefully will be arriving from Lou Kitzelman's blog

This week's challenge is Just Add Ink #JAI586 - Summer Blog Hop . So as it is summer here in Australia, it reminds me of bright and happy colours. I decided to use the new Boughs and Blossoms Bundle which was recently released in the Jan-June 2022 Mini Catalouge. I also used the Flower Market die and the Jan/Feb Sale-a-bration papers - Simply Marbleous and Friendly Hello DSP.

Instructions:

- Use Bumblebee cardstock for the base and layer with Basic White and a piece of the Simply Marbleous DSP. Use the Flower Market Dies and die cut a piece of Basic White (saving the off cut floral pieces to colour).

- Use the Bough & Blossoms stamp set and Flirty Flamingo, Polished Pink and Pale Papaya Ink to stamp flowers. Use the off cut pieces from the die cut and colour with Polished Pink, Pale Papaya and Highland Heather Stampin' Blends. Adhere the flowers to the card. Use the Bough Punch from the bundle to cut leaves from the Friendly Hello DSP and adhere to the card.

- Stamp a sentiment from the Blooms & Blossoms set using Bumblebee ink, then adhere to a piece of Bumblebee card and attach to the card.

I'm Nuts + Bolts About You - Nuts & Bolts

I'm Nuts + Bolts About You - Nuts & Bolts

Hello again! So I have something a little different for you today. My friend and fellow Stampin' Up!®  Artisan Design teammate, Kim Fee from Simplyfairies Papercrafts and I decided to do a 'blog bounce' and share some cards made using the Nuts & Bolts stamp set which was newly released this week with the brand new January-June 2022 Mini Catalogue.

To explain a bit more... today I will be sharing a card today using the Nuts & Bolts set and then you can head to Kim's blog to see her card for today. We will both be sharing another card tomorrow, so make sure to come and visit again.

For my card in addition to the stamp set, I also used the Simply Marbleous 6"x6" DSP which is a Sale-a-bration item this month during January and February if you spend over $90 in my store.

Instructions:

- Use Basic White A4 card cut in half lengthwise and folded for the card base. Add a layer of the Simply Marbleous DSP and then layer with a piece of Basic Black card. Use a piece of Basic White and add some So Saffron ink with a blending brush. Stamp some hearts using So Saffron ink and 'ground' using Tuxedo Black ink and adhere to the card.

- Stamp the robot image using Tuxedo Black and colour with Stampin' Blends (Gray Granite, Smoky Slate and So Saffron). Fussy cut the image and adhere to the card. Stamp the sentiment from the set using Versamark ink onto Basic Black card and heat emboss with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. Adhere the sentiment to the card then add some Iridescent  Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Now make sure you head to Kim's blog to see her gorgeous card for today... she had me at rusted robots (swoon!!😍😍)
