Rainy Days - Playing in the Rain - GDP391 Theme Challenge

Rainy Days - Playing in the Rain - GDP391 Theme Challenge

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for Global Design Project's GDP391 Theme Challenge . This week our theme challenge is Rain or Shine.

I used the Playing in the Rain Bundle and coloured all the images with Stampin' Blends. I also used the Raindrops Embossing Folder and the retiring Rain or Shine Specialty DSP. I used ink blending on the background to create the sky.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Basic White A4 card, cut in half and folded. Cut down so that the height of the card is 6". Layer with a piece of Basic White card that has had Tahitian Tide ink applied with a Blending Brush and then embossed with the Raindrops Embossing Folder. Use some sort of distressing tool to highlight the embossed raindrops.

- Stamp the bunny from the Playing in the Rain stamp set using Tuxedo Black onto Basic White and die cut using the Playing in the Rain dies. Colour with Stampin' Blends (Flirty Flamingo, Pecan Pie, Pool Party).

Use the dies to die cut the umbrella and clouds from the Rain or Shine Specialty DSP, the kite from the DSP and Basic White card and the grass from Old Olive card. Adhere all the pieces to the card front.

- Stamp the sentiment using the Playing in the rain stamp set onto a piece of Basic White using Tuxedo Black and fussy cut down to use only part of the sentiment.
