Hello and welcome back to my blog. I created todays card to join in the #TGIFC308 Inspiration Challenge. This weeks inspiration on the TGIF Challenges Blog is a gorgeous watercolour background with florals overlaying it. I took the florals as my inspiration for this card.
I used the True Love Designer Series Paper from the Love You Always Suite which is in the Stampin' Up!® Jan-June Mini 2021 catalogue. I also used elements from the Forever Greenery Suite and the Hydrangea Hill Suite. I love the colour Purple Posy and am very sad that it is retiring soon so I you might see a few more Purple Posy or Rococo Rose (another favourite) cards in the next little while.

Instructions:
- Use a Basic White card base, A4 card, cut in half lengthwise. Mat this with a piece of the Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Designer Acetate
- Cut a piece of Purple Posy cardstock to layer onto the Acetate and attach with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Cut strips of Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape and layer them onto a piece of Basic White card, attaching them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and interspersing it with slim pieces of gold foil. Once dry, trim the edges down to the size of the Basic White and splatter some Wink of Stella onto the striped pieces. Attach the piece with Liquid Glue to the Purple Posy card.
- Fussy cut the flowers from the True Love DSP. Colour them with Stampin Blends. Colour the centres of the flowers with Wink of Stella.
- Die cut some pieces from Vellum using the Forever Flourishing Dies and attach these plus some Gold Trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack to the card using Mini Glue Dots.
- Attach the flowers to the card using Stampin' Dimensional. Embellish with Gilded Gems.
- Stamp a sentiment from the Art Gallery Stamp Set onto Basic White card and mat with a strip of Purple Posy card. Attach to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
