Hello and welcome back to my blog. You are visiting Ann Alexander from Australia. Today I have a card for the March 2023 "Ink and Inspiration Blog Hop".
This month's inspiration image is featured below and the full set of colours for this month's theme are Polished Pink, Gorgeous Grape, Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie and Granny Apple Green. My card today uses 5 out of 6 of the colours (no Gorgeous Grape), but the stamped images were perfect for colouring with the rest of the challenge colours.
I create a clean and simple card and used the Cheerful Basket stamp set with Stampin' Blends to colour the images. I combined it with the coordinating Full Basket dies and some soft ink blending in the background.
Instructions:
- Use a piece of Polished Pink card, cut lengthwise in half and fold. Layer with a piece of Basic White and then another piece of Basic White that has a little Polished Pink ink blended onto it with a Blending Brush.
- Stamp the basket and hearts from the Cheerful Basket Stamp set onto Basic White using Tuxedo Black ink. Die cut the images with the Full Basket Dies and colour with Stampin' Blends (Polished Pink, Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie and Granny Apple Green).
- Stamp the sentiment from the Cheerful Basket set using Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White card and adhere. Blend Polished Pink ink onto Basic White card using a Blending Brush and die cut with the heart dies from the Full Basket Dies and add to the card.
