Just Wanted to Say - Many Messages Bundle & Brilliant Wings Dies - Monthly International Blog Highlights - July 2021

Hello and welcome to my blog today.

I am excited to be participating in Kylie Bertucci’s Monthly International Blog Highlights with Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators from around the world!

The theme this and every month is 'Thank You'. Below there is a button where you can visit the gallery and vote for your five favourite cards (I am hoping mine will be one of your favourites 😊!).

I used the Many Messages Bundle, Brilliant Wings Dies, Pattern Party Designer Series Paper and Meadow Moments Embossing Folder.

Instructions:

Use a piece of Basic White card for the card base.  Splatter Sahara Sand ink onto the card base. Mat a piece of Pattern Party Designer Series Paper onto the card base and attach using Liquid Glue.

Emboss a piece of Basic White with the Meadow Moments Embossing Folder and attach to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals making sure the debossed side is facing up.

Die cut the large butterfly from the Brilliant Wings from Flirty Flamingo card. Use Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends to add some depth to the colour of the butterfly. Attach to the card using Mini Glue Dots.

Tie a bow with the Silver and Gold Simply Elegant Trim and attach to the card using a Mini Glue Dot.

Stamp the sentiment from the Many Messages stamp set onto Basic Black card with Versamark Ink and heat emboss with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. Use the coordinating Messages Dies to die cut the sentiment. Trim off the end of the Basic Black card and attach the sentiment to the card using Mini Glue Dots.

Add some Matte Black Dots to the front of the card. Stamp a 'Thank You' from the Elegantly Said stamp set on the inside of the card using Tuxedo Black ink.

Measurements:

- Basic White card base A4/Letter cut in half lengthwise and folded

- Pattern Party DSP layer: A4 5 3/8" x 3 5/8"/ 13.9 x 9.5 cm or Letter 3 3/4" x 5"

- Basic White debossed layer: A4 5 1/8" x 3 3/8"/ 13.4 x 9 cm or Letter 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"

I hope you liked my card today. I would love it if you were able to vote for me. The Top 10 will participate in a blog hop towards the end of July.

You are capable of amazing things - Stampin' Blends and Brilliant Wings Dies - #TGIFC318

You are capable of amazing things - Stampin' Blends and Brilliant Wings Dies - #TGIFC318

Hello again! Today's card is for the TGIF Challenge Blog - #TGIFC318 - Designer Take Over - Stampin' Blends.

I used Stampin' Blends from Stampin' Up!® for the background. I also used the Brilliant Wings Dies and a sentiment from the Hydrangea Haven stamp.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Basic White card A4 cut in half lengthwise and folded. Use a smaller piece of Basic White for the next layer and attach using Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Use a piece of Stampin' Up! Vellum and add some colour from a Stampin' Blends marker (Blackberry Bliss and Smoky Slate). Add some high strength Isopropyl Alcohol (I used the Australian brand Diggers 99% Isopropyl Alcohol), either via dropping the alcohol onto the coloured area or using the sprayer. Move the colour around using a straw or air blower. Keep adding colour until you are satisfied with your blending. Attach the Vellum to the Basic White card using sponged Liquid Glue spread over the back of the Vellum.

- Die cut some butterflies from Basic White and Basic Gray card. Use blending brushes to add some Blackberry Bliss ink to one of the larger butterflies. Use the brushes to add some Basic Gray Ink to the edges of the smaller white butterfly. Attach the butterflies to each other using Liquid Glue and to the card using Mini Glue Dots.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set using Blackberry Bliss ink onto Basic White card. Mat this piece with Rich Razzleberry card and attach to the card using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Add some Rhinestone Basic Jewels coloured with Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blends to the card.

Wishing You A Year of Magical Moments - Butterfly Bouquet - #TGIFC311 Sketch Challenge

Wishing You A Year of Magical Moments - Butterfly Bouquet - #TGIFC311 Sketch Challenge

Hello and welcome to back to my blog. I created this card for the #TGIFC311 Sketch Challenge this week. The challenge this week was to create a Slimline Card.

I used the Brilliant Wings Dies, Many Messages Bundle for the die cut sentiment, Painted Texture Embossing Folder. I combined it with the now sold out Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Basic Gray card A4 cut in half and folded in half lengthwise for the card base.

- Cut a piece of Basic White card for the inside and outside of the card (slightly smaller than the Basic Gray). Colour the outside card with using a Blending Brush with Magenta Madness Ink. Stamp the card with the dotted background stamp from the  Forever Fern stamp set using Blushing Bride Ink then emboss with the Painted Texture Embossing Folder. Adhere this card to the Basic Gray base using Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Die cut butterflies from Calypso Coral, So Saffron, Magenta Madness and Bermuda Bay using the Brilliant Wings Dies. Use the Layered Circles Dies and die cut circles out of coordinating Butterfly Bijou papers. Attach the circles to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals and the butterflies to the papers with Mini Glue Dots.

- Stamp a sentiment and die cut using Tuxedo Black ink and the Many Messages Bundle. Attach the sentiment to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Adhere the inside Basic White card using Liquid Glue.

TIP
As the Butterfly Bijou is now sold out, you could substitute it with paper that you have blended ink onto or smooshed some ink onto instead.
