Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Colour Challenge this week, where we are using Old Olive, Strawberry Slush & Pretty Peacock. Visit the Global Design Project Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the rest of the team's entries.

To create my card, I used products from the Beautiful Gallery Suite including the Gallery Blooms Bundle, Beautiful Motifs Bundle and Damask Designs Embossing Folder. I also used the Season of Elegance DSP, 2 3/8' Circle Punch, Forever Greenery Trim (retired) and Pretty Peacock Tinsel Gems.

Instructions:

- Use Pretty Peacock for the card base and layer with a piece with Basic White. Layer with another piece of Basic White card embossed with the Damask Designs Embossing Folder. Layer a piece of Season of Elegance DSP.

- Use a 2 3/8" Circle Punch to punch a circle from Basic White. Stamp images from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set onto it using second generation stamping with Strawberry Slush ink. Adhere to the front of the card.

- Stamp the floral image from the Gallery Blooms set onto Basic White with Pretty Peacock ink and fussy or die cut out. Cut pieces from Basic White card from the Gallery Blooms and Beautiful Motifs dies. Colour the floral piece and die cut pieces with Stampin' Blends in the challenge colours and layer onto the punched circle

- Use some Gold Forever Greenery trim and add a bow to the front of the card. Stamp a sentiment onto Basic White with Pretty Peacock and adhere to the card. Finally add some Pretty Peacock Tinsel Gems to complete.

Celebrate - Gallery Blooms & Beautiful Motifs - GDP500 Case the Designer Challenge

Celebrate - Gallery Blooms & Beautiful Motifs - GDP500 Case the Designer Challenge

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Project's GDP500th Challenge. We are celebrating by doing Case the Designer Challenge where the whole team is CASEing another designer on the team. I am CASEing the very talented Berdien Weideveld. I was inspired by Berdien's layout, florals and use of die cuts and fussy cutting. Visit the Global Design Project Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the rest of the team's entries.

To create my card, I used various products from the Beautiful Gallery Suite Collection including the Gallery Blooms stamp set, Beautiful Motifs Bundle, Beautiful Gallery DSP,  Damask Designs Embossing Folder, 2 3/8" Circle Punch and Stampin' Blends.

Instructions:

- Use Secret Sea for the card base and layer with a piece of Basic White card, and then a piece of the Beautiful Gallery DSP. Add a layer of Vellum which is embossed with the Damask Designs Embossing Folder.

- Stamp images from the Gallery Blooms stamp set onto Basic White card using Secret Sea ink and fussy or die cut the images. Colour all the images with Stampin' Blends (Strawberry Slush, Darling Duckling, Timid Tiger, Lost Lagoon and Cloud Cover).

- Fussy cut leaves from the Beautiful Gallery DSP and use the Beautiful Motifs dies to die cut more leaves from Basic White and Lost Lagoon card. Layer all the leaves onto the Vellum layer.  Punch a 2 3/8" Circle from Basic Beige and layer onto the leaves. Adhere the stamped florals onto the circle.

- Finally stamp the sentiment from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set with Secret Sea Ink onto Basic White card, mat with a piece of Secret Sea card and adhere.
