Happy Birthday - Forever Friendship - Use Your Stash Challenge June 2026

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the 'Use Your Stash" Instagram Hop June 2026. I am joined by an amazing lineup of crafters so make sure you go to my Instagram page HERE to see the rest of the team's creations.

The aim of the hop is to use up some of the huge stash that we all accumulate. Hopefully it will also inspire both ourselves and others to combine some of our old and new products to reduce that stash.

This month's theme is "Botanicals". There are so many botanical themed stamps and papers in my stash but when I saw the very sweet images from the Forever Friendship stamp set, I knew I had to use it for today's challenge. i added in quite a few coordinating retired items including the Forever Greenery DSP (an all time favourite and one of the very first I purchased from Stampin' Up!®), Paper Lattice and the Elegant Eucalyptus 3D Embossing Folder. I also used a 2 3'8" Circle Punch, Stampin' Blends and added some Old Olive Dewdrops Embellishments.

Instructions:

- Use Pretty Peacock card for the base and layer with Soft Seafoam card. Layer with a piece of the Forever Greenery DSP, a smaller piece of Pretty Peacock card and then a piece of the Paper Lattice.

Stamp an image from the Forever Friendship stamp set onto Basic White using Tuxedo Black ink, colour with Stampin' Blends and fussy cut out.  Use the same ink and stamp the sentiment onto a separate piece of Basic White card.

- Punch a circle from Basic White using a 2 3/8" Circle Punch. Emboss with the Elegant Eucalyptus Embossing Folder and add some ink lightly over the embossed areas with a Blending Brush.

Fussy cut leaves from the Forever Greenery DSP and then layer these leaves, embossed circle and plant images onto the card. Mat the sentiment onto a piece of Pretty Peacock card and adhere. Finally add some Old Olive Dewdrops Embellishments to complete.
