Happy Birthday - Simply Said - JAI749 Choose Two Challenge

Hello and welcome back to my blog! I have another Just Add Ink Design Team post for you today. This week's challenge is the Just Add Ink #JAI749 Choose Two Challenge . The options for this week's challenge between Circles, Cake & Coffee. I chose Circles & Cake although used Coffee coloured card for the card base.

I used the Simply Said stamp set, Birthday Treats Mix & Match Ephemera Pack, Stripes & Florals Mix & Match Cards & Envelopes, 2" and 2 3/8" Circle Punches, Hobnail Glass Embossing Folder (retired), Rainbow Adhesive Backed Dots and Stampin' Write Markers.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of the Pecan Pie card for the base, layer with Bubble Bath card and then a layer of Basic White embossed with the Hobnail Glass Embossing Folder.

- Use both a 2" and 2 3/8" Punch to punch circles from the Stripes & Florals Mix & Match Cards and layer onto the card front. Use the same punches to die cut lattice circles from the Bubble Bath lattice in the Birthday Treats Mix & Match Ephemera Pack.

- Fussy cut cake pieces from Birthday Treats Mix & Match Ephemera Pack and use coordinating Stampin' Write markers to add details, outline and deepen the colour of these pieces.

- Stamp a sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set onto Basic White using Tuxedo Black ink. Mat with a piece of Bubble Bath card and adhere. Finally add some Rainbow Adhesive Backed Dots to complete the card.
