Let's Celebrate - Simply Said - CAS on Friday

Hello and welcome back to my blog! My card for today is for this week's CAS on Friday Challenge #285 theme which is a 'Embossing' Challenge. I decided to do a dry embossed rather than a heat embossed card as it is one of my favourite techniques to add details to a card.

For my card today, I used the Simply Said stamp set, a die cut from the Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack (colouring some of the images with Stampin" Blends) and Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder and 2024-2026 In Colour Resin Dots.

Instructions:

- Use Basic White card for the card base and layer with a piece of Basic White card which has been embossed with the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder. Apply some Pecan Pie ink with a small Blending Brush onto the raised embossed areas.

- Use a die cut from the Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack and colour the floral image with Stampin' Blends (Granny Apple Green and Pecan Pie). 

- Stamp the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set using Tuxedo Black onto Basic White and attach to the card. Add some 2024-2026 In Colour Resin Dots to the card to complete.
