Hello again and welcome back to my blog! I have another Just Add Ink Design Team post for you today. This week's challenge is the Just Add Ink #JAI688 Just Choose Two Challenge - Sequin - Star - Stitching .
I decided to pick Sequins & Stars and create a birthday card for my daughter. I used the Beautiful Balloons Bundle combining it with the Bright & Beautiful DSP. I added in some Sequins (retired) with Window Sheets to create the shaker element.
Instructions:
- Use Basic White card for the card base and layer with starry piece of the Bright & Beautiful DSP. Cut another layer of the Bright & Beautiful DSP and adhere to a piece of Misty Moonlight card. Use the Beautiful Balloons Dies to cut a balloon shape out.
- Adhere a piece of Window Sheet over the die cut balloon. Use foam tape on the back of this DSP/card piece. Lay sequins onto the card base and attach the DSP/card piece over the top.
- Use the Beautiful Balloons Dies and cut balloons and stars from card-stock (Bubble Bath & Lemon Lime Twist) and the Bright & Beautiful DSP respectively . Stamp the sentiment onto the larger balloon with Tuxedo Black ink. Stamp stars and dots onto the smaller balloon using Lemon Lime Twist ink.
- Adhere some more sequins to the front of the card to complete.
