Hello again and welcome back to my blog! I have another Just Add Ink Design Team post for you today. This week's challenge is the Just Add Ink #JAI690 Just Add A Fancy Fold .
I don't do a lot of fancy folds, but this type of fold is my favourite as it allows you to highlight the DSP. I used the Softly Stippled DSP (a Sale-a-bration item which is free for purchases over AUD$90), and highlighted a few of the papers in the set including using it for the main floral images. I combined it with the Stippled Roses stamp set (sentiment) and 2023-2025 In Colour Dots.
Instructions:
- Use Calypso Coral card for the base, folding it landscape. Then score the card front 1 1/4" from the open side and fold back. Layer the card front with pieces of the Softly Stippled DSP on the card front layer, and then the folded part. Optionally you can adhere this fold to the card front. Also use the DSP on the interior of the card to allow it to be seen due to the fold back. Use a piece of Basic White on the interior of the card to write your greetings.
- Fussy cut flowers from the Softly Stippled DSP and colour with Stampin' Blends (Calypso Coral and Lost Lagoon). Adhere this to the front of the card on the folded flap.
- Stamp the sentiment onto Basic White with Pebbled Path ink and adhere. Use 2023-2025 In Colour Dots on the front of the card to complete.
