Hello again and welcome back to my blog! I have another Just Add Ink Design Team post for you today. This week's challenge is the Just Add Ink #JAI685 Just Add Flowers Blog Hop which is our first for 2024 and is a whole team hop with the theme centred around flowers (a favourite of mine as everyone knows).
I used the Enduring Beauty bundle (from the Jan-April 2024 Mini Catalogue) and combined it with the Most Adored Specialty DSP (a Sale-a-bration item free for spends over AUD$90). I also coloured the images with Stampin' Blends and added some Gold Simply Elegant Trim to complete the card.
You should have arrived from Narelle Farrugia's blog (Click HERE in case you missed it). Make sure to scroll to the bottom to visit Tina's blog and follow the blog hop all the way through.
Instructions:
- Use Old Olive card for the card base. Layer with another piece of Old Olive and then with the Most Adored Specialty DSP.
- Use the Enduring Beauty stamp set and stamp the large floral image onto Basic White card with Tuxedo Black ink (use a stamping platform to assist in stamping such a large image). Colour the image with Stampin' Blends (Melon Mambo, Real Red, Calypso Coral, Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green and Old Olive).
- Use the Enduring Beauty Dies to die cut the image and adhere to the card. Die cut leaf pieces from Old Olive card using the same dies and attach under the floral image.
- Stamp the sentiment from the Enduring Beauty set onto Basic White using Tuxedo Black and adhere. Add a bow using Gold Simply Elegant Trim to complete.
