Wishing You Joy In This Next Adventure - Watercolour World & Greatest Journey- Ink and Inspiration Blog Hop - November 2023

Hello and welcome back to my blog. You are visiting Ann Alexander from Australia. Today I have a card for the November 2023 "Ink and Inspiration Blog Hop".

This month's inspiration image is featured below and the full set of colours for this month's theme are Real Red, Cajun Craze, Petal Pink, Smoky Slate, Pecan Pie and Pool Party. My card today uses 4 out of 6 of the colours (no Real Red or Cajun Craze). I was inspired by both the colours and the travel theme and world map for my card today.

I used the Watercolour World (images) and Greatest Journey (sentiment-now retired) stamp sets. I coloured the image using the inspiration image colours and sponge daubers. I finished the image with Classic Matte Dots - placed strategically on Sydney, Australia (my home town), Utah, USA (Stampin' Up® home) and approximately the North Pole reflecting it almost being Christmas time. 

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Pool Party card for the card base. Layer with a piece of Smoky Slate and then a piece of Petal Pink card. Stamp the image from the Watercolour World set using a stamping platform and apply the inks with Sponge Daubers (Pool Party, Petal Pink, Smoky Slate and Pecan Pie). I applied each colour individually to avoid contaminating the image. 

- Stamp the sentiment from the Greatest Journey set using Smoky Slate ink onto Basic White card and adhere. Add some Classic Matte Dots to complete.
