Warm Welcome - Curved Occasions - Let's Craft Together Blog Hop

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Thank you for joining us for this month's Let's Craft Together Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin' Up!® demonstrators in Australia who have developed a strong friendship through the love of stamping and our admiration of each others style of crafting. Each month one of us sets a challenge that we use for the blog hop. Make sure to check the blog links below to see the team's fabulous creations

This month's challenge is a Sketch Challenge suggested by Annette McMillan.

I used the Curved Occasions stamp set, Delightfully Eclectic DSP, Cross Hatch Basics Embossing Folder, 2 3/8" Circle Punch and Rhinestone Basic Jewels coloured with Stampin' Blends.

Instructions:

- Use Very Vanilla card for the base and layer with a piece of Fresh Freesia which has been embossed with Cross Hatch Basics Embossing Folder. Use the Delightfully Eclectic DSP and cut down to match the sketch using the opposite side of the DSP as the layering piece.

- Stamp the image from the Curved Occasions stamp set using Tuxedo black ink onto both Basic White card and a leftover piece of the Delightfully Eclectic DSP. Fussy cut the body of the car from the DSP and the full car from the Basic White piece. Use Stampin' Blends (Fresh Freesia, Misty Moonlight, Basic Black and Pool Party) to colour parts of the car. Adhere the patterned body onto the fussy cut car.

- Punch a circle from Very Vanilla card using the 2 3/8" punch and layer this onto the card and then adhere the car. Stamp a sentiment from the Curved Occasions set onto Very Vanilla using Tuxedo Black ink. Finally add some Rhinestone Basic Jewels coloured with Stampin' Blends (Night of Navy) to the card to complete.
