With Gratitude - Earthen Textures - FMS590 Sketch Challenge

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is one I created for Freshly Made Sketches  FMS590 Sketch Challenge .

I used the Earthen Textures Set and coordinating dies, the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder and the Earthen Elegance DSP. Stampin' Up!® is having a Creative Challenge this month using the Light, Medium & Deep Stampin' Blends and I used them to create the coloured panels in the background.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Basic White A4 card, cut in half lengthwise and folded. Mat with a piece of Basic White card that has been embossed with the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder and had some Copper Clay ink splattered onto it.

- Use the Medium, Medium Deep and Deep (600,400,200) Stampin' Blends and apply haphazardly to strips of Basic White card and use a Colour Lifter and some Isopropyl Alcohol to dilute the colour. Emboss a couple of the coloured pieces of card with the basket weave die from the Earthen Textures Die set. Add a few dabs of Copper Clay ink with a Sponge Dauber over a few spots of the raised embossed pieces of card.

- Stamp the branches using the Earthen Textures set with Copper Clay ink onto Basic White and use the dies to cut this piece out as well as a vase from the Earthen Elegance DSP.

- Stamp the sentiment using Versamark ink onto Pebbled Path card and heat emboss with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. Finally add some Rhinestone Basic Jewels coloured with Pretty Peacock Stampin' Blends to complete.

  1. All of the elements on your card work together so beautifully!! The dsp and the embossing folder are a beautiful backdrop to the big pot. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
