Let the fun begin - Desert Details - GDP389 Colour Challenge

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for Global Design Project's GDP389 Colour Challenge . This week we are doing a Colour Challenge using Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Tahitian Tide

I used the Desert Details bundle (stamp set and dies) and the Enjoy the Journey DSP both of which will be retiring soon. I watercoloured the die cut pieces in the challenge colours and used the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder on the background die cut piece.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Basic White A4 card, cut in half lengthwise and folded and layer with a piece of Daffodil Delight card. Use Basic White card which has been embossed with the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder and die cut with the Desert Details Dies. Splatter with Pumpkin Pie ink.

- Watercolour pieces of Fluid 100 watercolour paper using the challenge colour re-inkers and a Waterbrush. Add colour haphazardly to add visual interest. Die cut these pieces using the Desert Details Dies and adhere to the front of the card. Die cut a piece of the Enjoy the Journey DSP with the dies and adhere.

- Stamp the sentiment using the Desert Details stamp set onto a piece of Basic White using Tahitian Tide ink. Add some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to complete.
