Artisan Design Team - August 2022 - Gingham Cottage Suite Collection

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I am sharing my August monthly showcase projects for the Stampin' Up!® Artisan Design Team!

For this month's projects, I was asked to use products from the new Stampin' Up!® 2022-2023 Mini Catalogue, the "Gingham Cottage" Suite Collection which includes the Cottage Wreaths stamp, Country Wreath Dies, Gingham Cottage DSP, Silver Threaded Twine and Pearlized Enamel Effects Basics.  I hope that the projects I have made inspire you to create something using this lovely collection! Don't forget to visit the Stampin' Up!® Corporate Facebook Page to see what the other Artisan Team Members have created with this set.

Here is the Gingham Cottage Suite Collection:

Merry Christmas

- Use Basic White for the card base, mat with a piece of Smoky Slate and then the Gingham Cottage DSP in the coordinating colour. Die cut 4 wreaths using the Country Wreath Dies from both Real Red and White Glimmer Paper and layer onto each other onto the card, leaving some of the leaf pieces in place.

- Stamp leaves using Mint Macaron and die cut using the Country Wreath Dies. Die cut bows from the Gingham Cottage DSP and Basic White card and layer together and adhere onto the wreaths.

- Use the Pearlized Enamel Effects on the bows to create an enamel dot. Stamp the sentiment from the Country Wreath stamp using Tuxedo Black onto Basic White. Mat with a piece of Real Red Glimmer Paper and adhere to the card.

Boo Crackers

-  Use the Gingham Cottage DSP and the Cracker and Treat Box Dies and create two crackers. Stamp leaves in Pumpkin Pie and Gorgeous Grape, spiders in Tuxedo Black and die cut these using the Country Wreaths Dies. Additionally die cut more leaves from Basic Black card.

- Use some Silver Threaded Twine and Take Your Pick Tool to pull apart the twine and use the smaller strands to tie the ends of the cracker.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Country Wreath stamp set using Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White card and adhere to the cracker. Use the Pearlized Enamel Effects to add dimension to the spiders (I used red on some of the spiders to create the effect of the native Australian Red-Back Spider).

TIP:  Make the Silver-Threaded Twine more versatile by using a Take Your Pick tool to unpick the twine. Use thinner strands to tie the ends of your Cracker & Treat Boxes or to use on other projects.
