Artisan Design Team - July 2022 - Lighthouse Point Bundle

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I am sharing my July monthly showcase projects for the Stampin' Up!® Artisan Design Team!

For July's projects, I was asked to use products from the new Stampin' Up!® 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue, the "Lighthouse Point" Bundle which includes the Lighthouse Point stamp set and the Lighthouse Dies. I hope that the projects I have made inspire you to create something using this lovely bundle! Don't forget to visit the Stampin' Up!® Corporate Facebook Page to see what the other Artisan Team Members have created with this set.

Here is the Lighthouse Point Bundle:

Your Light Shines Brighter

- Use Perfectly Penciled DSP for the base and cut a piece of Basic White 12"x12" card down to leave a 1" border so that the DSP can be seen. Use various coloured inks (Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, So Saffron, Parakeet Party, Tahitian Tide, Orchid Oasis and Highland Heather) and stamp second generation images from the Lighthouse Point stamp set (see tip photo) Splatter using Polished Pink.

- Die cut lighthouses from Basic White and colour with Stampin' Blends (Polished Pink, Highland Heather, Tahitian Tide) using the Colour Lifter to lighten the colours.

- Mat the main photo onto various pieces of the Perfectly Penciled DSP. Cut out some flowers from the DSP, colour the centres with Stampin' Blends, adhere Rhinestone Basic Jewels and adhere randomly over the layout.

- Stamp the various sentiments from the stamp set using Polished Pink and So Saffron ink onto the layout.

So Much Thanks

-  Use a Smoky Slate card base, and layer with a piece of Fresh Freesia. Emboss a piece of Basic White with the Cascading Ruffles and adhere to the card.

- Use a piece of Basic White and apply Polished Pink, Flirty Flamingo and Pale Papaya . Stamp some cloud images from the Lighthouse Point set using Pale Papaya ink and then die cut the circle with the Stylish Shapes Dies and adhere.

- Stamp the two lighthouses using Polished Pink and Pale Papaya ink onto Basic White and die cut using the Lighthouse dies. Stamp second generation images using Smoky Slate onto Basic White of the clouds and die cut using the Lighthouse Dies.

- Adhere all the pieces to the card. Cut out some flowers from the DSP, colour the centres with Stampin' Blends, adhere Rhinestone Basic Jewels and adhere onto the card.

- Stamp the sentiments from the Lighthouse Point set using Highland Heather ink onto Fresh Freesia card. Use one of the label dies from the Lighthouse Dies set to cut the sentiment and adhere the sentiment to the card.

TIP:  To highlight your focal image on a scrapbook layout or card, soften the colours that you are using in the background. Stamp off onto a scratch piece of card, and then use the second generation image on your project. It allows you to use your favourite bright colours without taking away from your main photo or stamped image.
