Artisan Design Team - June 2022 - Best Butterflies

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I am sharing my June monthly showcase projects for the Stampin' Up!® Artisan Design Team!

For this month's projects, I was asked to use products from the Best Butterflies (from the new Stampin' Up!® 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue) including the "Best Butterflies" Bundle which includes the Best Butterflies stamp set and the Build a Butterfly Dies. I hope that the projects I have made inspire you to create something using this lovely bundle! Don't forget to visit the Stampin' Up!® Corporate Facebook Page to see what the other Artisan Team Members have created with this set.

Visit my Instagram Reel HERE to show how I created the Butterfly wing flowers.

Here is the Best Butterflies Bundle:

So Glad You Exist

- Use Basic White card for the base. Use a piece of Basic White card for the next layer after blending Polished Pink ink onto it with a Blending Brush. Stamp spots from the Best Butterflies set onto this piece with Versamark and heat emboss with White Stampin' Emboss Powder

- Using a circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies, and die cut two circles from Basic White and then emboss with the Timber Embossing Folder. Add some Polished Pink ink using a Blending Brush to apply some colour lightly to the circles. Die cut butterflies using the Build a Butterfly Dies from Vellum and Basic White card which has had So Saffron and Flirty Flamingo blended onto it. Add some Gold Leaf to the Vellum Butterflies. Layer the Vellum butterflies onto the blended cardstock butterflies and then adhere to the embossed circles

- Stamp the sentiment from the stamp set using Polished Pink ink onto a piece of Basic White and mat with blended Fresh Freesia card and adhere in the centre of the card. Add some 2021-2023 In Colour Opal Rounds to the card and the Pearl Basic Jewels to the bodies of the butterflies.

Hey You

-  Use a Polished Pink card base, and layer with a piece of Basic White. Stamp second generation image dots using the Best Butterflies stamp set onto the card using Polished Pink, Fresh Freesia, So Saffron and Flirty Flamingo inks.

- Die cut multiple butterfly wings using the Build a Butterfly Dies. Apply ink with a Blending Brush (So Saffron, Polished Pink, Flirty Flamingo) to create the 'flowers' (see tip below). Apply large Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the centres of the flowers. Die cut butterflies using the dies from vellum and apply Gold Leaf to the edges and adhere to the flowers.

- Stamp and cut up the sentiments from the Best Butterflies set to create your own greeting using Polished Pink ink on Basic White card. Attach to Polished Pink card and adhere to the card. Add some 2021-2023 In Colour Opal Rounds to the Vellum Butterflies.

TIP:  Use your 'Build a Butterfly Dies' to create unique embellishments for your projects. Die cut multiple butterfly wings using the dies and adhere together. Add some additional colour with Blending Brushes to create one of a kind flowers for your creative projects.
