Hello and welcome to my blog! Today's card is for Global Design Project's #GDP341 Colour Challenge. This week the colours Pale Papaya, Calypso Coral and Pool Party which always remind me of florals.
I decided to use the Happiness Abounds Bundle (Happiness Abounds stamp set and Blossoming Happiness Dies) from the new 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue available tomorrow. I also used the Subtle Embossing Folder (retired), Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels and Twine.
Instructions:
- Use Basic White A4 card cut in half lengthwise and folded for the card base. Layer with a piece of the Pale Papaya card, then a piece of Basic White embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder (now retired).
- Stamp the images from the Happiness Abounds stamp set onto Basic White using Smoky Slate ink and fussy cut (you could use the coordinating dies but I wanted to minimise the white outline of the flowers). Colour the images using Stampin' Blends (Calypso Coral and Pale Papaya).
- Use the Blossoming Happiness Dies to die cut a background textured piece from Basic White card and colour haphazardly with Pool Party Stampin' Blends. Die cut hexagons from this piece using the Beautiful Shapes Dies. Adhere the florals and hexagons to the card.
- Stamp the sentiment from the Happiness Abounds stamp set using Pool Party ink onto Basic White and mat with a piece of Pale Papaya card. Add some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels and Very Vanilla Twine to complete.
