Birthday Wishes - Sending Smiles - GDP340 Case the Designer Challenge

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today's card is for Global Design Project's #GDP340 Case the Designer Challenge . This week everyone gets to CASE me!! What fun seeing everyone's creations this week. 

I was initially thinking to use the stamp set I had used on my original card but then I decided to use a brand new set from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue called "Sending Smiles" and the coordinating Sending Dies. I also used the Vellum Layering Designs and 2022-2024 In Colour Matte Decorative Dots. The main elements I cased from my original card were the placement of images and embellishments, use of twine and use of leaves.

Instructions:

- Use Basic White A4 card cut in half lengthwise and folded for the card base. Layer with a piece of the Sahara Sand card, then a piece of Basic Black and a piece Vellum Layering Designs.

- Stamp the images and leaves from the Sending Smiles set onto Basic White using Sweet Sorbet, Orchid Oasis, Parakeet Party and Garden Green inks. Die cut using the Sending Dies and adhere to the card. 

- Stamp the sentiment from the Sending Smiles stamp set using Orchid Oasis ink onto Basic White. Mat onto a piece of Tea Boutique DSP. Add some Parakeet Party 2022-2024 In Colour Matte Decorative Dots.
