Artisan Design Team - Corporate Post - Dahlia Days Bundle

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am so excited to be sharing my first Corporate Post for Stampin' Up!® today using the Dahlia Days Bundle which is on page 35 in the January - June 2022 Mini Catalogue. This bundle is absolutely gorgeous and was so much fun to play with.

To view this project fully, don't forget to visit the Stampin' Up!® Corporate Facebook Page.

The Dahlia Days Bundle consists of the Dahlia Days Stamp Set and the coordinating Detailed Dahlias Dies.  The delicate florals in the bundle are perfect for creating anything from a simple card with one focal dahlia to a detailed garden bed of flowers especially when you use the large detailed background die.

The cards I made for this project were designed to show off that amazing large background die from the Detail Dahlias Dies in different ways and the glorious blooms from the stamp set.

Here are the products I used for these cards. See the links below if you would like to shop my store.

To An Amazing Woman:

- I used Highland Heather card for the base, with Basic White and Misty Moonlight for the layers. I used a piece of Basic White and die cut the large detailed background die. After cutting it in half, I adhered it to the card base as a border accent.

- Stamp the Dahlia/florals  in Highland Heather, Flirty Flamingo and Fresh Freesia ink. Stamp leaves in Mint Macaron ink and the sentiment in Misty Moonlight. Die cut all the pieces using the Detailed Dahlias Dies and adhere them to the card.

Thank You For Your Kindness:

- I used Gorgeous Grape card for the base, with Basic White, Heart & Home 12" x 12" DSP, and Vellum for the layers. I used a piece of Basic White and die cut the large detailed background die and trimmed it down to use as another layer/accent piece.

- Stamp the Dahlia/florals  in Misty Moonlight, Highland Heather and  Fresh Freesia ink. Stamp the sentiment in Misty Moonlight onto Basic White card and mat onto a piece of Misty Moonlight. Die cut all the pieces using the Detailed Dahlias Dies and adhere them to the card. Add some Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the centre of the florals.

TIP: Use second generation stamping to create flowers of different shades from just one colour of ink pad to add more interest to your florals. This allows you to have multicoloured florals despite a limited number of ink pads.

You Made My Day:

- I used Highland Heather card for the base, with Basic White, Fresh Freesia and Flirty Flamingo for the layers. I used a piece of Flirty Flamingo and die cut the large detailed background die. I used it as a stencil to blend Flirty Flamingo ink through onto a piece of Basic White card and then die cut out using the Tailor Made Tags Dies. Tie a piece of Fresh Freesia and Gorgeous Grape ribbon through the tag into a bow

- Stamp the Dahlia/florals using Highland Heather and  Fresh Freesia ink.  Stamp the leaves with Mint Macaron ink and the sentiment in Highland Heather ink onto Basic White card and mat onto a piece of stencilled Basic White card. Die cut all the pieces using the Detailed Dahlias Dies and adhere them to the card.

TIP: To create a stencilled background, use Flirty Flamingo ink and a Blending Brush and apply ink through the large details background onto a piece of Basic White card. Apply more layers of colour to create a more intense contrasting look.
