Artisan Design Team - January 2022 - Sweet Talk Collection

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am so excited to be sharing my January monthly showcase projects for the Stampin' Up!® Artisan Design Team! For this month's projects, I was asked to used products from the very cute Sweet Talk Suite (from the Stampin' Up!® January-June 2022 Mini Catalogue). I hope that the projects I have made inspire you to create something using this very sweet suite! Don't forget to visit the Stampin' Up!® Corporate Facebook Page to see what the other Artisan Team Members have created with this set.

Here is the full collection including the Sweet Conversations Stamp Set,  Sweet Hearts Dies, Sweet Talk 12" x 12 " Designer Series Paper, Real Red Faux Linen Ribbon, Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Gingham Embossing Folder and Sweet Little Boxes (boxes not used in in these projects).

"B My Valentine" card

- I used Real Red card for the base, with Basic White and Sweet Talk DSP for the layers. I ran a piece of Basic White through the Gingham Embossing Folder and used a Blending Brush to apply a light layer of Real Red ink to the centre of that piece.

- Use the Sweet Heart Dies to die cut hearts from the stamped hearts (using the Sweet Conversations stamp set), blended hearts (using the coordinating Real Red and Petal Pink inks), and from coordinating cardstock (Highland Heather, Petal Pink). Use a piece of the Real Red Faux Linen Ribbon, apply Stampin' Seal to the back of the card and create a ruffle adhering the ribbon slowly to the card. Add the various stamped and die cut elements to the card including the Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

TIP: Create your own sentiment for the card by stamping multiple sentiments from the Sweet Conversations stamp set and cutting them down.

Happy Valentine's Day card

-  I used a Basic White card base, and layers of Highland Heather and Sweet Talk DSP (run through the Gingham Embossing Folder). Die cut hearts from the Sweet Talk DSP, Highland Heather and Petal Pink card. Use the envelope dies to cut two envelopes from the Sweet Talk DSP. Adhere the hearts and envelopes to the card. Stamp a sentiment and mat with a Highland Heather label cut using the Sweet Hearts dies.

Happy To Have You In My Life:

- I used Basic White for the card base. I then coloured a piece of Vellum with Highland Heather Stampin' Blends on the back and attached to a piece of Basic White, and adhered to the card.  Die cut rows of heart using the Sweet Hearts Dies from the Sweet Talk DSP and adhere to the card.

- Stamp the 'Happy to Have You in My Life' sentiment and the "Happy Valentine's Day" sentiment using Versamark onto Real Red card and emboss with White Stampin' Emboss Powder and then adhere to the card.
