Hello again! Today's card is one I have entered into the Global Design Project Challenge #GDP315 Theme Challenge this week. This week's challenge theme involves Pumpkins/ Halloween. Now my family generally doesn't do very much to celebrate Halloween particularly living in Australia, so I only really have one stamp set that is particularly Halloween themed which is the Clever Cats set. Now if you had seen THIS post, you would know the reason I actually bought that set was mainly as they reminded me of my own cats.

For this card I used the Clever Cats stamp set, Pattern Party DSP, Linen Specialty Paper and some ink blending to create the different colours and textures.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Basic Black A4 card, cut in half lengthwise and folded. Layer a piece of Pattern Party DSP. Use a piece of Basic White card and blend Pumpkin Pie and Gorgeous Grape inks with a Blending Brush in a haphazard fashion. Dab areas with the brush to add concentrated colour.

- Use the Linen Specialty Paper and cut strips of it slightly wider than the piece of Basic White card. Use Crumb Cake ink and both a Blending Brush and a Sponge Dauber to create a distressed look to the Linen Paper. Distress the edges of the paper to create a frayed look. Work out where you to position the Linen Paper to create a bandaged/mummy look and stamp the cat eyes using a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker. Adhere the pieces of Linen Paper.

- Stamp the pumpkin and cat from the Clever Cats set using Basic Gray and Tuxedo Black ink respectively. Use a Basic Black Stampin' Write marker to darken the colours as needed including with the stamped cat eyes. Colour the pumpkin with Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends. Adhere the pumpkin and cat to the card

- Stamp a sentiment from the Clever Cats stamp set using Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White card, mat with Pattern Party DSP and attach the sentiment to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. Add some Rhinestone Basic Jewels coloured with a Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blend to the card.
