You Inspire Me - Delicate Dahlias - #GDP300

Hello again! Today's card is one I have entered into the Global Design Project #GDP300 CASE the designer challenge this week. This week's challenge is to case a design from the amazing GDP Design Team Member Steffi Helmschrott.

I used the Delicate Dahlias stamp set from the upcoming Stampin' Up!® Sale-a-bration Catalogue (August-September). I also used the Stampin' Blends and Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper.

Don't forget that you can earn this stamp set if you spend more than AUD $180 in August and September.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Highland Heather A4 card, cut in half lengthwise. Mat a piece of the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper with Liquid Glue.

Use the piece of Stampin' Up! Vellum and add some colour from a Stampin' Blends marker (Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather and Balmy Blue). Add some high strength Isopropyl Alcohol (I used the Australian brand Diggers 99% Isopropyl Alcohol), either via adding drops of the alcohol onto the coloured area or using the sprayer.

- Add each colour one at time and move the colour around using a straw or air blower. Keep adding colour until you are satisfied. Attach the Vellum to Thick Basic White card using sponged Liquid Glue spread over the back of the Vellum. Attach the card/vellum layer to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Stamp two of the the large Dahlia from the Delicate Dahlias set onto another piece of Vellum with Versamark Ink and heat emboss with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. Colour the back of one of the flowers with Stampin' Blends (Blackberry Bliss, Highland Heather and Balmy Blue). Attach the uncoloured flower to the card using Liquid Glue and the second flower on top with Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Delicate Dahlias stamp set using Highland Heather Ink onto Thick Basic White card. Attach to the card using Stampin Dimensionals.

- Add some Rhinestone Basic jewels (coloured with Highland Heather Stampin' Blends) to the card.
