Celebrate You - Hand-Penned Petals and Create with Friends

Hello and welcome back to my blog. I have a card for you today that I created with the new Stampin' Up!® stamp sets Hand-Penned Petals (see here for more posts using this stamp set), and another new stamp set - Create with Friends. The Create with Friends stamp set is a lovely sentiment only stamp set which is perfect for using with any image.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Misty Moonlight card for the base A4 cut in half lengthwise and folded.

- Use another slightly smaller piece of Basic White card and attach it to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Cut a piece of Shimmery White Yardstick and blend Pacific Point, Misty Moonlight and Night of Navy inks using Blending Brushes to create a slight ombré look for the background. Splatter with Clear Wink of Stella. Attach this piece to the card base using Liquid Glue.

- Stamp the Hand-Penned Petals set onto Basic White card using Tuxedo Black ink. Die cut using the Penned Flowers Dies. Colour the images using the Polished Pink, Pale Papaya and Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends. Attach the flowers to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Create with Friends set with Misty Moonlight ink onto Basic White card, fussy cut the sentiment and then mat this onto a small strip of Misty Moonlight card. Attach the sentiment to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Adhere some Silver and Clear Epoxy Essentials to the card. Place another piece of Basic White on the inside of the card using Liquid Glue.
